I don't think his letter moved the stock by 5%. Maybe because the whole market was up and the stock was down 5% in the last two days? Regardless, AWS is a strong core business and will indeed lead the company to success. Best to focus on long term prospects and growth and ignore short term fluctuations. This is a stock to buy and hold and a generational opportunity to accumulate.

This is why Singapore is so successful. It is run by smart people who are pragmatic enough to adapt to take note of economic data prior to making decisions. Not stubborn old fools that don't understand that Friedman's Nobel prize for monetarism was granted in 1976. A lot has changed and blindly raising interest rates is not always the answer. If there is no innovation, people stop buying Tesla and switch to other brands. Example Blackberry, Kodak, Nokia, Sony (TV's). Without innovation Tesla will fail As their technology fades. To have continuing innovation itneeds a CEO who doesn't think he is Tony Effing Stark! Elon needs to refocus or a new CEOneeds to be appointed.

Key concern is the state of the economy and the impact on revenues in the coming year. Overly optimistic to expect a soft landing in Australia when such a large portion of loans are exiting the fixed rate honeymoon period. This will have a huge impact on the economy. Offsetting this will be the reopoening of borders and influx of students/tourists, but this will have minimal impact on CBA's income.

For non US residents I find it hard to invest in these banks because of the withholding and inheritance tax. Prefer the Singaporean, Australian and Chinese Banks where yields are even higher. Tesla is now leveraging off its economies of scale to squeeze and price out competitors. This will further embed its first mover advantage. This was always the plan. You don't leave prices high when competitors are coming in cheaper. By eliminating providing price advantage they will consolidate the market. This is a great development for Tesla.

Misleading. Low box means low vol which means lower probability of major fluctuations. CS are not saying that low acid means we are going to see a higher chance of drop.
