Up","url":"https://stock-news.laohu8.com/highlight/detail?id=2255551011","media":"Barrons","summary":"Apple's better-than-expected earnings report helped shake off investor concerns about how a slowdown","content":"

Apple's better-than-expected earnings report helped shake off investor concerns about how a slowdown in consumer demand would impact the tech giant. As sentiment turns positive, it may be time to buy the stock, analysts say.

Investors were wary heading into Apple's (ticker: AAPL) earnings, heeding warnings about the cloud of macroeconomic challenges descending on the tech sector. Aside from slowing consumer demand, the company has had to grapple with nagging supply chain challenges and rising interest rates, which depressed estimates and price targets in the weeks before the report.

But Apple joined Amazon.com ( AMZN) in assuaging investor fears on Thursday by posting solid quarterly results that beat expectations. As sentiment turns positive, it may be time to buy the stock, analysts say.Investors were wary heading into Apple's (ticker: AAPL) earnings, heeding warnings about the cloud of macroeconomic challenges descending on the tech sector. Analysts reacted positively to the report, and gained confidence that the company could continue to outperform over the next few quarters.\"We would characterize this quarter as a major bullish statement on iPhone demand and Cupertino's [the location of Apple's main office] ability to navigate a supply chain shortage in an impressive performance, \" wrote Wedbush analyst Daniel Ives on Friday.Citi analyst Jim Suva agreed, saying he continued to see several positive drivers for Apple's products and services in the months ahead, even though macro challenges will persist.Suva outlined five reasons to buy the stock.iPhone 14Suva believes the iPhone 14 is still on track for a September launch, while a foldable phone could be in the works by 2024 at the latest. The iPhone 13 was the main driver behind Apple's $83 billion in sales during its fiscal third quarter, boosting the bottom line even as Mac computer sales fell short of expectations.Expansion of Services SegmentApple has been working to build out its services segment, which Suva said would be able to deliver stickier recurring revenue, and open up the door for more devices-as-a-service offerings. The company reached an all-time high in their installed base across iOS in the third quarter. This will be crucial as it means Apple has a \"larger base to monetize over the long run,\" wrote Evercore ISI analyst Amit Daryanani.New Product LaunchesIn addition to an iPhone launch, the company is preparing to release artificial reality headsets and the Apple Car by 2025, both of which have yet to be factored into estimates, he added.Demand Shift Toward Premium ProductsThe market continues to skew away from lower priced Android phones toward premium pricing products, Suva said, which will benefit Apple's iPhone offerings.Stock Buyback ProgramThe company's $90 billion stock buyback program will keep boosting the shares in the long run, Suva added.\"We walk away from the conference call and June results incrementally more positive that Apple can navigate this economic storm with the demand and growth story well intact for the growth pillars of iPhones and Services front and center,\" Ives wrote.","news_type":1,"symbols_score_info":{"AAPL":1}},"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":2403,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":9901690230,"gmtCreate":1659176765720,"gmtModify":1676536269164,"author":{"id":"4096119408780510","authorId":"4096119408780510","name":"Jehms","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/84c64b2b7d36baf53d2d5bd1dce11972","crmLevel":11,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"4096119408780510","authorIdStr":"4096119408780510"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"$Amazon.com(AMZN)$👍","listText":"$Amazon.com(AMZN)$👍","text":"$Amazon.com(AMZN)$👍","images":[{"img":"https://community-static.tradeup.com/news/04461f65ec843a6669d94858c3e64d51","width":"1170","height":"3005"}],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":1,"commentSize":0,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://ttm.financial/post/9901690230","isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":1294,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":1,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":9909975667,"gmtCreate":1658803384259,"gmtModify":1676536210501,"author":{"id":"4096119408780510","authorId":"4096119408780510","name":"Jehms","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/84c64b2b7d36baf53d2d5bd1dce11972","crmLevel":11,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"4096119408780510","authorIdStr":"4096119408780510"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"Ok","listText":"Ok","text":"Ok","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":2,"commentSize":1,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://ttm.financial/post/9909975667","repostId":"1108375477","repostType":4,"repost":{"id":"1108375477","kind":"news","weMediaInfo":{"introduction":"Reuters.com brings you the latest news from around the world, covering breaking news in markets, business, politics, entertainment and technology","home_visible":1,"media_name":"Reuters","id":"1036604489","head_image":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/443ce19704621c837795676028cec868"},"pubTimestamp":1658789741,"share":"https://ttm.financial/m/news/1108375477?lang=en_US&edition=fundamental","pubTime":"2022-07-26 06:55","market":"us","language":"en","title":"S&P 500 Ends Choppy Session Nearly Flat; Investors Eye Fed, Earnings","url":"https://stock-news.laohu8.com/highlight/detail?id=1108375477","media":"Reuters","summary":"Apple, Amazon.com among companies to report earnings this weekFOMC to kick off two-day policy meetin","content":"

Apple, Amazon.com among companies to report earnings this week

FOMC to kick off two-day policy meeting from Tuesday

Miner Newmont falls after raising annual cost forecast

Indexes: Dow up 0.3%, S&P 500 up 0.1%, Nasdaq down 0.4%

NEW YORK, July 25 (Reuters) - The S&P 500 see-sawed on Monday and ended close to unchanged as investors girded for an expected rate hike at a Federal Reserve meeting this week and earnings from several large-cap growth companies.

The Nasdaq ended lower, and S&P 500 technology and consumer discretionary led declines among major S&P sectors. Along with inflation and rising interest rates, investors have been concerned about the impact of currency headwinds and lingering supply chain issues for companies this earnings season.Tuesday brings reports on two housing indicators - the S&P Case-Shiller's 20-city composite and the Commerce Department's new home sales number.Recent housing data has suggested the sector may be a harbinger of a cooling economy.Newmont Corp fell 13.2% after the miner raised its annual cost forecast and missed its second-quarter profit, hurt by lower gold prices and inflationary pressures.Volume on U.S. exchanges was 9.34 billion shares, compared with the 11.0 billion average for the full session over the last 20 trading days.Advancing issues outnumbered declining ones on the NYSE by a 1.55-to-1 ratio; on Nasdaq, a 1.05-to-1 ratio favored decliners. The S&P 500 posted 1 new 52-week highs and 29 new lows; the Nasdaq Composite recorded 50 new highs and 105 new lows.","news_type":1,"symbols_score_info":{"NEM":0.9,".DJI":0.9,"WMT":0.9,".SPX":0.9,".IXIC":0.9}},"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":968,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":9909975120,"gmtCreate":1658803361960,"gmtModify":1676536210501,"author":{"id":"4096119408780510","authorId":"4096119408780510","name":"Jehms","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/84c64b2b7d36baf53d2d5bd1dce11972","crmLevel":11,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"4096119408780510","authorIdStr":"4096119408780510"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"$OVERSEA-CHINESE BANKING CORP(O39.SI)$👍","listText":"$OVERSEA-CHINESE BANKING CORP(O39.SI)$👍","text":"$OVERSEA-CHINESE BANKING CORP(O39.SI)$👍","images":[{"img":"https://community-static.tradeup.com/news/734a021742a4a8c79dde0c79bc861344","width":"1170","height":"2507"}],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":0,"commentSize":0,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://ttm.financial/post/9909975120","isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":1186,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":1,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":9909975016,"gmtCreate":1658803313635,"gmtModify":1676536210493,"author":{"id":"4096119408780510","authorId":"4096119408780510","name":"Jehms","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/84c64b2b7d36baf53d2d5bd1dce11972","crmLevel":11,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"4096119408780510","authorIdStr":"4096119408780510"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"Nice","listText":"Nice","text":"Nice","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":1,"commentSize":1,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://ttm.financial/post/9909975016","repostId":"1118390099","repostType":4,"repost":{"id":"1118390099","kind":"news","pubTimestamp":1658802820,"share":"https://ttm.financial/m/news/1118390099?lang=en_US&edition=fundamental","pubTime":"2022-07-26 10:33","market":"us","language":"en","title":"Disney+ Could Top Netflix in Streaming Wars","url":"https://stock-news.laohu8.com/highlight/detail?id=1118390099","media":"TipRanks","summary":"Story HighlightsWith plenty of exciting content and features coming to Disney+, the platform seems w","content":"
\n
Story HighlightsWith plenty of exciting content and features coming to Disney+, the platform seems well-positioned to overtake Netflix. This is because the service is more resilient to recessions and seemingly more innovative than its competitors.Disney (DIS) has endured one of the worst slates of headwinds in recent memory, but it could emerge on the other side in a position of strength. Many catalysts, including the reopening of parks and resorts, can act as a boon for the stock over the coming months. However, it’s Disney+ and a shift of strategy that could help it take meaningful share away from rival Netflix (NFLX) amid its subscriber bleed. I am bullish on Disney stock.Indeed, the video-streaming on demand (SVOD) market has been under pressure of late, with a slowing economy and a tightening consumer. Netflix recently clocked in some better-than-feared results that saw it shed nearly 1 million subscribers. Netflix stock rallied as investors feared subscriber losses closer to 2 million.Though Netflix’s subscriber free-fall signals that the streaming market is destined for sub-optimal returns (content spending is so incredibly expensive and is not without its fair share of risk), I’d argue that Netflix’s shortfall represents an opportunity for its peers. The streaming wars are far from over. At this juncture, it appears that Disney is en route to becoming the new king of SVOD. It’s not just a large quantity of quality video content that could help Disney leap-frog Netflix as the going gets tough.Disney has learned quite a bit from its entrance into the streaming markets, and it could shake up the model in an effort to attract new users and keep them subscribed. Indeed, the image below shows how Disney’s streaming platforms keep seeing an increase in unique visitors.Interestingly, of all the streamers,Hulu saw the strongest growth in website traffic on a year-over-year basis during June 2022.Is Disney+ More Recession-Resilient than the Rest? There’s a lot of competition for subscriber dollars these days. As we approach an economic slowdown or downturn, the subscription economy could witness what I’ll refer to as “the Great Cancellation.” Consumers probably won’t cancel everything, but they will be more selective. Arguably, Disney+ stands out as a must-have service. It has a deep library of content and is about to get much better, with a pipeline full of intriguing releases.Recently, Disney+ added two R-rated titles in “Deadpool” and “Logan” to its lineup. Believe it or not, Disney+ subscribers aren’t all children. With many older audiences engaged, Disney may have an opportunity to kick its growth into high drive by including more R-rated content across its Marvel universes.Disney+’s Hotstar service is full of R-rated films, and it’s been a hit among viewers. Given the popularity of mature Marvel films, one has to think that Disney may be in a position to better cater to its many older viewers.Disney+ Can Out-Innovate NetflixWhen it comes to streaming, content remains king. However, there are other areas that can help streamers gain a leg up on the competition. Most notably, innovative technologies and new streaming models. Indeed, Disney is no stranger to trying new things with its streaming platform. During the COVID-19 pandemic, Disney tested the waters with Premiere Access, allowing users to view theatrical films from their own homes. As the American economy reopened, the company pulled the brakes on the initiative. The cinemas are starting to fill their seats with bums again, making Premiere Access likely a short-lived endeavor with mixed success.Looking ahead, Disney could test out new models to improve stickiness. Ultra-long TV series with many episodes trickled in weekly may be the future of streaming. By disallowing binging, streamers can combat the “flip-flopping” across streaming platforms and keep subscribers subscribed.Disney is already doing a fantastic job of spreading its quality content over time. Its pipeline is always full, and there are usually intriguing new launches to look forward to in any given month. As Netflix and other streamers look to introduce ad-supported tiers, Disney will be following suit. Disney’s ad-based service promises fewer ads than Hulu’s ad-based service. As streaming embraces (targeted) ads, we may very well see firms like Disney taking away ad business from social-media firms. With exceptional algorithms, I’d look for Disney to really thrive as the streaming wars make an interesting pivot.Wall Street’s Take on DisneyTurning to Wall Street, Disney has a Moderate Buy consensus rating based on 17 Buys and eight Holds assigned in the past three months. The average Disney price target of $137.35 implies 33.3% upside potential. Analyst price targets range from a low of $110.00 per share to a high of $176.00 per share. The Bottom Line: Disney will Likely become KingDisney+ has a lot going for it, as ad-based tiers become a preferred option among consumers seeking to save a bit of cash. At this pace, I expect Disney+ will be crowned the new king of streaming as soon as a few years.","news_type":1,"symbols_score_info":{"NFLX":0.9,"DIS":0.9}},"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":1249,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":9900225330,"gmtCreate":1658716984620,"gmtModify":1676536196931,"author":{"id":"4096119408780510","authorId":"4096119408780510","name":"Jehms","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/84c64b2b7d36baf53d2d5bd1dce11972","crmLevel":11,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"4096119408780510","authorIdStr":"4096119408780510"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"$OVERSEA-CHINESE BANKING CORP(O39.SI)$Yes","listText":"$OVERSEA-CHINESE BANKING CORP(O39.SI)$Yes","text":"$OVERSEA-CHINESE BANKING CORP(O39.SI)$Yes","images":[{"img":"https://community-static.tradeup.com/news/9b3bcdc530ebb5b65aae7299975e4414","width":"1170","height":"2507"}],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":0,"commentSize":0,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://ttm.financial/post/9900225330","isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":1041,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":1,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":9074761497,"gmtCreate":1658412532319,"gmtModify":1676536154825,"author":{"id":"4096119408780510","authorId":"4096119408780510","name":"Jehms","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/84c64b2b7d36baf53d2d5bd1dce11972","crmLevel":11,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"4096119408780510","authorIdStr":"4096119408780510"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"$First Wave BioPharma, Inc.(FWBI)$Nice","listText":"$First Wave BioPharma, Inc.(FWBI)$Nice","text":"$First Wave BioPharma, Inc.(FWBI)$Nice","images":[{"img":"https://community-static.tradeup.com/news/5923f21fdc216c3f69a3532b650cf4e9","width":"1170","height":"3080"}],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":0,"commentSize":0,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://ttm.financial/post/9074761497","isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":887,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":1,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":9074763569,"gmtCreate":1658412423851,"gmtModify":1676536154833,"author":{"id":"4096119408780510","authorId":"4096119408780510","name":"Jehms","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/84c64b2b7d36baf53d2d5bd1dce11972","crmLevel":11,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"4096119408780510","authorIdStr":"4096119408780510"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"$Rivian Automotive, Inc.(RIVN)$🆙 ","listText":"$Rivian Automotive, Inc.(RIVN)$🆙 ","text":"$Rivian Automotive, Inc.(RIVN)$🆙","images":[{"img":"https://community-static.tradeup.com/news/e885262021389e5ad639a02d3912697c","width":"1170","height":"2292"}],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":0,"commentSize":0,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://ttm.financial/post/9074763569","isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":1040,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":1,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":9074102248,"gmtCreate":1658308504285,"gmtModify":1676536138619,"author":{"id":"4096119408780510","authorId":"4096119408780510","name":"Jehms","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/84c64b2b7d36baf53d2d5bd1dce11972","crmLevel":11,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"4096119408780510","authorIdStr":"4096119408780510"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"Ok","listText":"Ok","text":"Ok","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":2,"commentSize":0,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://ttm.financial/post/9074102248","repostId":"1119138372","repostType":4,"repost":{"id":"1119138372","kind":"news","pubTimestamp":1658329805,"share":"https://ttm.financial/m/news/1119138372?lang=en_US&edition=fundamental","pubTime":"2022-07-20 23:10","market":"us","language":"en","title":"Stocks vs. Options: Choosing the Right Time to Buy Each","url":"https://stock-news.laohu8.com/highlight/detail?id=1119138372","media":"Forexlive","summary":"Each performs better in certain situations...Stocks and options may have some similarities, but they","content":"
\n
Each performs better in certain situations...Stocks and options may have some similarities, but they are two different types of investment, especially when it comes to their risk-reward potential. And ...
\n\nSource Link\n\n
\n","source":"lsy1623168602413","collect":0,"html":"\n
\n
\n<meta http-equiv=\"Content-Type\" content=\"text/html; In addition, you would need a margin account and considerable capital to qualify for options trading. That’s why mutual funds or exchange-traded funds (ETFs) consisting of various stocks make a better choice than options, particularly with beginner and even some intermediate investors. You’d Rather Not Follow the MarketStocks need to be monitored from time to time, although the amount of time you need to keep an eye on them is usually less than what is required by options, which have set expiration dates. They’re VolatileIt can be pretty easy for options to be out of the money (OTM) and expire worthless if you’re rooting for a particular stock that’s quite volatile. Investing in stocks can provide you with a permanent stake, but you need to survive the ups and downs, and that’s often unlikely to happen with options. You’re Aiming Long-TermStocks typically make significant gains in the long run, although the journey ahead will not be smooth sailing. That said, options’ short-term nature is more against your favor during tough times in the market since they can expire before stock prices start taking the optimistic route again.Choose options when…You Seek Higher ReturnsLike stocks, options offer a high-reward potential. Still, keep in mind that such a benefit also carries a serious risk with it. While options could amplify your potential returns twofold, threefold, or even more, you’re risking losing a lot. And that could happen in the span of a few weeks or months. So if you plan to buy options, make sure you are in a financial position where losses from trading options can be managed and will not easily drag your capital down should your trade goes wrong. You’re Looking to Earn an IncomeSome investors sell call options against their stock positions or write put options to generate income. These strategies provide a good and pretty low-risk way to trade options. You Want Buy Stocks at a DiscountUsing options to purchase stocks can help you hold shares at a discount. Instead of buying a company’s stock directly, you can sell a put option on the stock, which lets you set a price you’re willing to pay for the stock. Moreover, you immediately collect premiums for selling put options, which you can trade to make an additional profit for your account. You’re an Experienced InvestorOptions can be risky and complex investments that first-time investors should avoid, at least until they have enough knowledge and an excellent idea of what they are doing. Active traders seeking flexibility may also find a suitable candidate in options.","news_type":1,"symbols_score_info":{".IXIC":0.9,".SPX":0.9,".DJI":0.9}},"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":723,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":9074106798,"gmtCreate":1658308407215,"gmtModify":1676536138611,"author":{"id":"4096119408780510","authorId":"4096119408780510","name":"Jehms","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/84c64b2b7d36baf53d2d5bd1dce11972","crmLevel":11,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"4096119408780510","authorIdStr":"4096119408780510"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"$Viking Energy Group, Inc.(VKIN)$👍","listText":"$Viking Energy Group, Inc.(VKIN)$👍","text":"$Viking Energy Group, Inc.(VKIN)$👍","images":[{"img":"https://community-static.tradeup.com/news/fc95d4c214926e3ab7137bb7615bdefd","width":"1170","height":"2507"}],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":0,"commentSize":0,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://ttm.financial/post/9074106798","isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":1239,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":1,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":9075820030,"gmtCreate":1658187550620,"gmtModify":1676536117581,"author":{"id":"4096119408780510","authorId":"4096119408780510","name":"Jehms","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/84c64b2b7d36baf53d2d5bd1dce11972","crmLevel":11,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"4096119408780510","authorIdStr":"4096119408780510"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"Nice","listText":"Nice","text":"Nice","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":0,"commentSize":0,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://ttm.financial/post/9075820030","repostId":"9076636237","repostType":1,"repost":{"id":9076636237,"gmtCreate":1657843261929,"gmtModify":1676536069749,"author":{"id":"4097201280076440","authorId":"4097201280076440","name":"mel18","avatar":"https://community-static.tradeup.com/news/cb8392cdbd4f593469aed779f484434a","crmLevel":12,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"4097201280076440","authorIdStr":"4097201280076440"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"$Apple(AAPL)$havebt seen a 6% gain in a while. The trouble is, companies known for growing quickly tend to trade at a premium, so it's typically hard to get a bargain under normal conditions. Both of the stocks I'll discuss today have had a punishing 12 months, and the recent market correction hasn't done them any favors. But nothing has changed about the quality of their business models or their ability to successfully execute. So, if anyone is looking for growth at a bargain, they should consider buying them. Let's explore why these companies are likely to bounce back fast.1. GoodRxGoodRx (NASDAQ:GDRX) helps consumers cut down on their prescription costs by finding coupons for the lowest local prices for their medicines and negotiating with manufacturers, pharmacies, and other providers on their behalf. Then, when pharmacy-benefit managers take their administrative fee from the pharmacy once the prescription is filled, GoodRx pockets a portion of it. Consumers can also subscribe for a monthly fee to get access to even more discounts. Between subscription income and fees, GoodRx generated $685.7 million in trailing-12-month revenue, and it's just getting started. The magic of this company's business model is that all of the incentives align perfectly. Patients can afford medications more easily, thereby helping them to experience better health. As a result, manufacturers lose fewer potential sales to price sensitivity among consumers. And healthcare providers don't need to worry about their patients having worse health outcomes from putting off spending on expensive but critical drugs. While it isn't profitable yet, its quarterly revenue has increased by 72.3% since January 2020. More importantly, the number of monthly active consumers using its service has increased by 31% year over year, reaching more than 6.4 million people as of 2021's third quarter. And its quarterly adjusted earnings before interest, taxation, depreciation, and amortization (EBITDA) have grown by 16%, reaching $61.8 million. As long as people need to spend less on their medications, the business will keep growing. If GoodRx can keep onboarding more consumers every year, it'll increase its economies of scale when it comes to negotiating with drug manufacturers and pharmacy-benefit managers, and that'll likely support a higher profit margin and more earnings accordingly. Therefore, it's definitely worth picking up a few shares while it's in a downtrend with the rest of the market if an investor's looking for a stock that has the potential to multiply in value.2. Innovative Industrial PropertiesMuch like GoodRx, Innovative Industrial Properties (NYSE:IIPR) has a highly repeatable business model, but it isn't in healthcare. Instead, Innovative Industrial is in the marijuana industry where it operates as both a landlord and a financial institution.Innovative Industrials' business starts when a cannabis company needs to raise capital but can't do so because traditional financial institutions are reluctant to lend to them as a result of cannabis prohibition. In short, the company offers to buy out a business' cannabis cultivation space, contingent on the owner leasing their former property immediately thereafter. That trade is mutually beneficial as the business gets the cash they need to grow, and Innovative Industrial gets a new rent-paying tenant as well as some property. And it's also quite profitable. Over the last three years, the company's quarterly net income has grown by 726.5%, and its dividend has grown by 233.3%. What's more, the weighted average lease length for its tenants is 16.7 years, so its base of revenue is remarkably safe. And all of the above bodes very well for new shareholders.Given that Innovative Industrial has more than $127 million in cash in the bank and $182.7 million in trailing-12-month revenue, it also has plenty of resources to keep buying out more space to continue growing. The only issue is, over the last six months, the total return of its shares has dropped by nearly 12%. Part of that is a result of the market getting gloomier toward marijuana stocks in general, and the recent correction certainly hasn't helped. On the bright side, the dip has driven Innovative Industrials' dividend yield up to 3%, which should sweeten the pot for new investors.","news_type":1,"symbols_score_info":{"IIPR":1,"GDRX":1}},"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":1002,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":9093991033,"gmtCreate":1643491211328,"gmtModify":1676533824532,"author":{"id":"4096119408780510","authorId":"4096119408780510","name":"Jehms","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/84c64b2b7d36baf53d2d5bd1dce11972","crmLevel":11,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"authorIdStr":"4096119408780510","idStr":"4096119408780510"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"Good","listText":"Good","text":"Good","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":5,"commentSize":0,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://ttm.financial/post/9093991033","repostId":"2207709788","repostType":4,"repost":{"id":"2207709788","kind":"news","pubTimestamp":1643433380,"share":"https://ttm.financial/m/news/2207709788?lang=en_US&edition=fundamental","pubTime":"2022-01-29 13:16","market":"us","language":"en","title":"French Court Upholds 100 Million Euro Fine against Google for Breaches Linked to Cookie Policy","url":"https://stock-news.laohu8.com/highlight/detail?id=2207709788","media":"Reuters","summary":"France's Conseil d'Etat, the country's supreme administrative court, on Friday said it upheld a deci","content":"

France's Conseil d'Etat, the country's supreme administrative court, on Friday said it upheld a decision by a watchdog imposing a 100 million euro (US$111.46 million) fine on the US tech giant for breaches linked to its cookies policy.

The fine imposed by France's CNIL data protection authority was proportionate, the court said in a statement.

"The Conseil d'Etat therefore rejects Google's demand to annul the sanction", it said.

","collect":0,"html":"\n
\n
\n<meta http-equiv=\"Content-Type\" content=\"text/html; That would take the benchmark to 1.25%-1.5% by the end of the year.Shifts are now seen by Goldman Sachs in March, May, July, September and December. They also expect officials to announce the start of a balance sheet reduction in June. The switch came days after Fed Chair Jerome Powell said officials were ready to raise rates in March and left the door open to moving at every meeting if needed to curb the fastest inflation in 40 years. A government report on Friday showed the Employment Cost Index rose 4% in the year through December, the most in two decades.Fed Kicks Off Most Aggressive Global Tightening in Decades“The evidence that wage growth is running above levels consistent with the Fed’s inflation target has strengthened, and we have revised up our inflation path,” the Goldman Sachs economists said in a report to clients. “In addition, Chair Powell’s comments earlier this week made it clear that the Fed leadership is open to a more aggressive pace of tightening.”The Fed could still switch gears if market conditions change or the economy decelerates much faster than projected, or tighten monetary policy even more than forecast if inflation remains high enough, they said.Even as they agreed the Fed will do more than they previously bet, banks were divided this week over how aggressive policy makers would be.Bank of America Corp. now predicts seven rate hikes in 2022 and BNP Paribas SA forecasts six, while JPMorgan Chase & Co. and Deutsche Bank AG see five.Nomura Holdings Inc. even reckons the central bank will deliver a 50 basis points increase in March, which would be the biggest move since 2000.Bloomberg Economics is sticking with the projection of five hikes it made earlier this month, though Chief Economist Anna Wong said this week there is a risk of six increases.","news_type":1,"symbols_score_info":{".DJI":0.9,".IXIC":0.9,".SPX":0.9}},"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":841,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":9072389314,"gmtCreate":1657954514338,"gmtModify":1676536087993,"author":{"id":"4096119408780510","authorId":"4096119408780510","name":"Jehms","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/84c64b2b7d36baf53d2d5bd1dce11972","crmLevel":11,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"authorIdStr":"4096119408780510","idStr":"4096119408780510"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"Nice","listText":"Nice","text":"Nice","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":4,"commentSize":0,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://ttm.financial/post/9072389314","repostId":"2251465061","repostType":4,"repost":{"id":"2251465061","kind":"highlight","pubTimestamp":1657931147,"share":"https://ttm.financial/m/news/2251465061?lang=en_US&edition=fundamental","pubTime":"2022-07-16 08:25","market":"us","language":"en","title":"3 Stocks That Drove the Dow's 650-Point Gain","url":"https://stock-news.laohu8.com/highlight/detail?id=2251465061","media":"Motley Fool","summary":"Investors bought stocks in one sector, in particular, as part of the Dow's relief rally today.","content":"
\n
The Dow Jones Industrial Average soared 658 points today, as investors responded favorably to earnings reports and as members of the Fed's rate-setting committee made comments that were less hawkish ...
\n\nSource Link\n\n
\n","source":"fool_stock","collect":0,"html":"\n
\n
\n<meta http-equiv=\"Content-Type\" content=\"text/html; UnitedHealth Group (UNH 5.44%) finished atop the Dow, with shares gaining nearly 5.5%. The company reported earnings that beat analyst estimates and also raised its full-year guidance.Furthermore, Fed Gov. Christopher Waller and St. Louis Fed President James Bullard, two Fed members that typically lean toward the hawkish side of the spectrum, said they support a three-quarter percentage-point rate increase at the Fed's meeting later this month. After a red hot inflation report earlier this week, investors feared a hike of a full percentage point might be coming.Aside from UnitedHealth, there was a clear theme in stocks that investors bought today that helped drive the Dow's big day.Banks gain todayAfter strong earnings reports from Citigroup (C 13.23%), Wells Fargo (WFC 6.17%), and other regional banks, bank stocks in the Dow took off and ended the day as three of the Dow's top four finishers.JPMorgan Chase (JPM 4.58%) finished the day 4.6% higher after the stock sold off yesterday. JPMorgan reported second-quarter earnings results yesterday that missed analyst estimates. Furthermore, the bank suspended share repurchases because it needs to build capital to prepare for higher expected regulatory capital requirements in 2023 and 2024.Still, JPMorgan reported that through the second quarter, the consumer and commercial customers remained healthy, a theme driven home in bank earnings reports today. The large investment bank Goldman Sachs (GS 4.36%) finished 4.4% higher, clearly riding the bank earnings wave. Investors have been concerned about Goldman's upcoming earnings because investment banking revenue has come in softer for banks this quarter. But trading revenue has been strong, as was consumer lending, perhaps assuaging investors' fears. Goldman will report Monday. Finally, the credit card and payments company American Express (AXP 4.40%) rose 4.4% today, with investors clearly optimistic about its upcoming earnings.Credit card growth came in extremely strong in Q2. JPMorgan reported credit card balances up 9% from the first quarter, while Citigroup saw branded card balances rise 4% from the first quarter.Buy bank stocks? After the sell-off this year, I am a fan of the banking sector and do think investors should consider JPMorgan Chase, Goldman, and American Express. Banks are about to enjoy the fastest rising interest rate environment since the Great Recession, which should help their loan businesses to flourish. While a recession would not be great for the sector, JPMorgan Chase CEO Jamie Dimon noted that consumers would be entering one with less leverage and in better shape than either the Great Recession or the pandemic.Banks have also built significant levels of capital and should be able to withstand a recession, which is why I like the risk-reward in the sector right now.","news_type":1,"symbols_score_info":{"WFC":0.9,"GS":0.9,"JPM":0.9,"UNH":0.79}},"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":788,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":9060647079,"gmtCreate":1651147062370,"gmtModify":1676534858583,"author":{"id":"4096119408780510","authorId":"4096119408780510","name":"Jehms","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/84c64b2b7d36baf53d2d5bd1dce11972","crmLevel":11,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"authorIdStr":"4096119408780510","idStr":"4096119408780510"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"$Phunware, Inc.(PHUN)$Nice","listText":"$Phunware, Inc.(PHUN)$Nice","text":"$Phunware, Inc.(PHUN)$Nice","images":[{"img":"https://community-static.tradeup.com/news/9f459b91f8665f2fb8350e5e6e152b9a","width":"1125","height":"4149"}],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":6,"commentSize":0,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://ttm.financial/post/9060647079","isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":999,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":1,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":9035165985,"gmtCreate":1647552708026,"gmtModify":1676534242271,"author":{"id":"4096119408780510","authorId":"4096119408780510","name":"Jehms","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/84c64b2b7d36baf53d2d5bd1dce11972","crmLevel":11,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"authorIdStr":"4096119408780510","idStr":"4096119408780510"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"Nice","listText":"Nice","text":"Nice","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":6,"commentSize":0,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://ttm.financial/post/9035165985","repostId":"1145367741","repostType":4,"repost":{"id":"1145367741","kind":"news","pubTimestamp":1647522542,"share":"https://ttm.financial/m/news/1145367741?lang=en_US&edition=fundamental","pubTime":"2022-03-17 21:09","market":"us","language":"en","title":"Apple Stock: Look Up Above, Is $3 Trillion Next?","url":"https://stock-news.laohu8.com/highlight/detail?id=1145367741","media":"TheStreet","summary":"The Apple Maven explores these two topics below. What sent AAPL soaringThe year has been tough for AAPL and the market at large. Here is what happened, and what investors could expect to see next.

What a recovery it has been. From the 2022 lows of around $150 reached on March 14, Apple stock skyrocketed by over 6% in only two days to close the March 16 session priced at almost $160 a piece.

Why did shares of the Cupertino company spike so suddenly? And could this be a sign that the $3 trillion market cap could be reached again soon?

The Apple Maven explores these two topics below.

What sent AAPL soaring

The year has been tough for AAPL and the market at large. Apple stock nearly entered bear market earlier this week, after having dipped 17%-plus from the all-time high of January.

But there have been signs lately that investors might be ready to start buying this dip.

It is hard to tell exactly why this vicious (but still very incipient) recovery began to take shape. On March 15, Apple’s nearly $5-per-share spike looked a lot like a volatility-driven rebound from the previous few days’ sharp declines.

But on Wednesday, another similar jump could be better explained by one key event: the Federal Reserve’sfirst move to raise short-term interest rates in years. The 25-basis point increase has been widely anticipated, and is nearly guaranteed to be only the first of many.

While this was clearly the catalyst that sent AAPL to nearly $160, at the same time it is tough to explain why the monetary policy announcement created $75 billion in market cap for Apple investors in a day. Shouldn’t higher interest rates be a negative for tech and growth stocks?

I believe that economic and business fundamentals have nothing to do with this. Instead, the Tuesday and Wednesday price movements seem to be a classic case of “relief rally”.

Investors had been dreading monetary policy tightening for months. Now that it is finally here, it may be time for everyone to just move on.

Is $3 trillion next?

I believe it is still way too early to project Apple $3 trillion once again — that is, a 12.5% gain that leads the share price to roughly $180. For now, AAPL’s recent $10 recovery could be a dead cat bounce in disguise, as mini-rallies are a feature of soft market conditions.

From the point of view of a long-term investor, however, I would still be interested in accumulating AAPL shares at less than $160.As I explained recently, Apple stock returns have historically been better after shares sink at least 10% to 15% from the peak.

I have little doubt that, eventually (timing here is a big question mark), AAPL will reclaim $180 per share and $3 trillion in market cap. Here is what happened, and what investors could expect to see next.What a recovery it has been. From the 2022 lows of around $150 reached on March 14, Apple stock skyrocketed by over 6% in only two days to close the March 16 session priced at almost $160 a piece.Why did shares of the Cupertino company spike so suddenly? And could this be a sign that the $3 trillion market cap could be reached again soon?The Apple Maven explores these two topics below.What sent AAPL soaringThe year has been tough for AAPL and the market at large. Apple stock nearly entered bear market earlier this week, after having dipped 17%-plus from the all-time high of January.But there have been signs lately that investors might be ready to start buying this dip.It is hard to tell exactly why this vicious (but still very incipient) recovery began to take shape. On March 15, Apple’s nearly $5-per-share spike looked a lot like a volatility-driven rebound from the previous few days’ sharp declines.But on Wednesday, another similar jump could be better explained by one key event: the Federal Reserve’sfirst move to raise short-term interest rates in years. The 25-basis point increase has been widely anticipated, and is nearly guaranteed to be only the first of many.While this was clearly the catalyst that sent AAPL to nearly $160, at the same time it is tough to explain why the monetary policy announcement created $75 billion in market cap for Apple investors in a day. Shouldn’t higher interest rates be a negative for tech and growth stocks?I believe that economic and business fundamentals have nothing to do with this. Instead, the Tuesday and Wednesday price movements seem to be a classic case of “relief rally”.Investors had been dreading monetary policy tightening for months. Now that it is finally here, it may be time for everyone to just move on.Is $3 trillion next?I believe it is still way too early to project Apple $3 trillion once again — that is, a 12.5% gain that leads the share price to roughly $180. For now, AAPL’s recent $10 recovery could be a dead cat bounce in disguise, as mini-rallies are a feature of soft market conditions.From the point of view of a long-term investor, however, I would still be interested in accumulating AAPL shares at less than $160.As I explained recently, Apple stock returns have historically been better after shares sink at least 10% to 15% from the peak.I have little doubt that, eventually (timing here is a big question mark), AAPL will reclaim $180 per share and $3 trillion in market cap. I would rather ride the upside from current levels than wait until shares have climbed much higher to, only then, join the party.","news_type":1,"symbols_score_info":{"AAPL":0.9}},"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":360,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0}],"lives":[]}
