Let's do a really simple chart analysis of $Apple(AAPL)$:On the white chart, I'm using 3 indicators:1) MACD 2) Bollinger bands3) RSIThe first thing I always like to look at when reading a chart is the MACD. Because you don't really need to think so much with it. Looking at how the BLUE line clearly crosses the RED line (with the green volume charts just started rising), it's definitely good for a "BUY".Second, although the green candlestick for the day is situated on the tip of the Bollinger band, showing that it has reach its ceiling.. but looking at the MACD line earlier, I would gladly say it has yet to really reach the "ceiling".Finally, from the RSI indicator, though the purple line shows it's ne

Following my previous post regarding $AMC Entertainment(AMC)$:It is noticed that this stock is going strong!Note how both top & bottom (especially bottom) line of the bollinger bands is maintaining a fairly steep line upwards.MACD is also constant on the rise.RSI still has some space towards ceiling.So we can be certain, it is ok to hold on to this stock (for long-term investing it is ok to keep; for swing traders, wait till the next converge of the MACD lines before selling)

$TSLA 20240126 175.0 PUT$   It's a lucky moment because on expiration day of this Sell PUT (yesterday), stock price drop till almost reach the strike price. Thankfully it didn't & lesson learnt not to do this so close to earnings release.. especially with a violatile stock like Tesla[What]  Now never hit thus expiring worthless, so managed some mini ka-ching

I haven't noticed before, there was a big jump in my profile recently - more than 90% better than other users.  Just willing to take a big step, willing to learn from other traders makes a whole lot of difference[Smile]  

My support & resistance box drawing with $Palantir Technologies Inc.(PLTR)$ I just learnt that instead of drawing lines, it's much better to use boxes to do S & R analysis. With boxes, it becomes an area/zone that is much clearer to see & no need to wait for the stock price to arrive at that "uncertain S/R line" So below is how I interpret from support & resistance boxes for PLTR: I have drawn 5 purple boxes, as you can see from the white chart. As clearly shown, the price is hovering around 26.55 So, let's take the nearest two S & R rectangle boxes from that price -- which is the box at around 28.00 & the box below that. The box below the current price of 26.55 has

$BABA 20250321 140.0 PUT$   Since US BABA is trading around $135 now which is below my sell PUT strike price, I will likely be assigned with the 1 lot (100 shares) under my PUT contract. While waiting for the shares assignment, I don't mind earning some extra premium.  So I entered a sell CALL contract that is OTM (out of the money) at $150 above current resistance zone & expires in April (maximum premium found on 25 April) allowing me to pocket $254.
