hot asset category while lowering risk.</b>\n</blockquote>\n<p>Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies can be among the most volatile securities trading today.</p>\n<p>A safer way to invest in cryptos and blockchain-technology companies is through exchange traded funds.</p>\n<p>The <a href=\"https://laohu8.com/S/BLOK\">Amplify Transformational Data Sharing ETF</a> BLOK is, by far, the largest ETF focused on cryptocurrencies and companies that use or develop blockchain technology. It has $1.3 billion in assets and is actively managed. The second-biggest ETF in the space is the Siren Nasdaq NexGen Economy ETF BLCN, which is passively managed -- it follows an index -- and has $291 million in assets. Both ETFs were established on Jan. 17, 2018. There's more about each of them below.</p>\n<p><b>Digital currencies -- risks and rewards</b></p>\n<p>Before digging into the blockchain ETFs, consider the risks of bitcoin and other digital currencies beyond volatility. For example, if you hold bitcoin in a digital wallet, make sure you don't lose your password. One investor lost access to an account with 7,002 bitcoin in 2012, according to Yahoo Finance. That equates to more than $327 million, based on bitcoin's settled price of $46,777 on Sept. 7.</p>\n<p>There have also been difficulties for people who wish to trade cryptocurrencies on days of high volatility and reports of hacked accounts and poor customer service at Coinbase Global Inc. <a href=\"https://laohu8.com/S/COIN\">$(COIN)$</a>, with customers unable to recover lost bitcoin.</p>\n<p>Coinbase has said only 0.01% of its customers have been affected by \"account takeovers,\" and analysts covering Coinbase's stock are believers in the company. Among 24 analysts polled by FactSet, 16 rate the stock a \"buy\" or the equivalent. On Sept. 7, Needham analyst John Todaro initiated his coverage of Coinbase with a \"buy\" rating and wrote that the company \"has done a good job of offering new assets and new products in a regulatory compliant manner, and is well on its way to becoming a <a href=\"https://laohu8.com/S/AONE.U\">one</a>-stop shop for crypto financial services.\"</p>\n<p><b>Blockchain ETFs</b></p>\n<p>Here's how the Amplify Transformational Data Sharing ETF <a href=\"https://laohu8.com/S/BLOK.UK\">$(BLOK.UK)$</a> and the Siren Nasdaq NexGen Economy ETF <a href=\"https://laohu8.com/S/BLCN\">$(BLCN)$</a> have performed since they were established, against the price of bitcoin itself, in U.S. dollars:</p>\n<p>Bitcoin has had the best performance on the chart, rising 322% since Jan. 17, 2018, with BLOK next, returning 159%, followed by BLCN, at 104%. Of course, we cannot predict the direction of bitcoin or other digital currencies, but the chart shows how much more volatile bitcoin has been than these ETFs.</p>\n<p>To further illustrate the volatility, check out this chart showing performance of the ETFs' first two years:</p>\n<p>Starting from Jan. 17, 2018, bitcoin was down as much as 71% through Dec. 14, 2018. For the complete two-year period, it was down 18%. Meanwhile, BLCN returned a positive 14% and BLOK was up 1%. The ETFs have been less volatile.</p>\n<p>Once again, here are total return comparisons for the two ETFs, bitcoin and, for reference, the SPDR S&P 500 ETF Trust <a href=\"https://laohu8.com/S/SPY.AU\">$(SPY.AU)$</a> and the Invesco QQQ Trust <a href=\"https://laohu8.com/S/QQQ\">$(QQQ)$</a>, which tracks the Nasdaq-100 Index , for various periods:</p>\n<table>\n <tbody>\n <tr>\n <td>Fund or index</td>\n <td>Total return -- 2021 through Sept. 8</td>\n <td>Total return 1 year</td>\n <td>Total return -- 2 years</td>\n <td>Total return -- 3 years</td>\n <td>Total return -- Jan. 17, 2018, through Sept. 8, 2021</td>\n </tr>\n <tr>\n <td>Amplify Transformational Data Sharing ETF BLOK</td>\n <td>170%</td>\n <td>113%</td>\n <td>177%</td>\n <td>164%</td>\n <td>159%</td>\n </tr>\n <tr>\n <td>Siren ETF Trust Siren Nasdaq NexGen Economy ETF BLCN</td>\n <td>88%</td>\n <td>44%</td>\n <td>106%</td>\n <td>113%</td>\n <td>104%</td>\n </tr>\n <tr>\n <td>Bitcoin <a href=\"https://laohu8.com/S/CME\">$(CME)$</a> Continuous</td>\n <td>58%</td>\n <td>365%</td>\n <td>345%</td>\n <td>628%</td>\n <td>322%</td>\n </tr>\n <tr>\n <td>SPDR S&P 500 ETF Trust</td>\n <td>44%</td>\n <td>37%</td>\n <td>57%</td>\n <td>66%</td>\n <td>72%</td>\n </tr>\n <tr>\n <td>Invesco QQQ Trust</td>\n <td>81%</td>\n <td>42%</td>\n <td>101%</td>\n <td>115%</td>\n <td>136%</td>\n </tr>\n <tr>\n <td>Source: FactSet</td>\n <td></td>\n <td></td>\n <td></td>\n <td></td>\n <td></td>\n </tr>\n </tbody>\n</table>\n<p>BLOK is rated four stars (out of five) by Morningstar, while BLCN has a three-star rating. Since it was established, BLOK has more than doubled the return of SPY, and has outperformed QQQ handily.</p>\n<p>Going back to the second chart, above, which emphasizes bitcoin's plunge in 2018, you can see that BLCN fared better than BLOK through that decline and for that two-year period.</p>\n<p>It may be good to consider how likely you would have been to wait out that difficult period while holding bitcoin. A broader investment in blockchain technology, with exposure to cryptocurrencies, may fit your risk tolerance better, while still giving exposure to this technological phenomenon.</p>\n<p><b>ETF portfolios</b></p>\n<p>During an interview, Amplify CEO Christian Magoon said he had decided to take an active approach with BLOK because of added flexibility.</p>\n<p>A passive approach to forming an index of companies exposed to blockchain might make use of algorithms for keyword searches in company filings for \"blockchain\" and related words, as a way to identify companies making use of the technology. But Magoon said BLOK's subadviser, Toroso Investments, will \"take extra steps to verify the actual blockchain-related activities of the companies we invest in.\"</p>\n<p>That can be important in a relatively new space with plenty of buzzwords. You might recall the story of <a href=\"https://laohu8.com/S/LTEA\">Long Island Iced Tea</a> Corp., which said in December 2017 that it would change its focus to investing in blockchain technology, while adopting the name Long Blockchain. That didn't turn out so well.</p>\n<p>BLOK typically holds about 45 stocks. Here are its 10 largest positions:</p>\n<table>\n <tbody>\n <tr>\n <td>Company</td>\n <td>Share of portfolio</td>\n <td>Market cap ($mil, U.S.)</td>\n <td>Total return -- 2021</td>\n </tr>\n <tr>\n <td><a href=\"https://laohu8.com/S/HUT\">Hut 8 Mining Corp</a>. Here's a new guide to all the information available on the MarketWatch quote pages, which can start you off on your own research.</p>\n<p>It might be a surprise to see PayPal Holdings Inc. It has been a popular way for investors and traders to \"play\" bitcoin indirectly. But it has its own risks, as its share price at times can rise to a very high premium over the trust's net asset value (the value of its investments at the end of the trading day divided by the number of shares). This means GBTC has an extra layer of volatility on top of bitcoin's price.</p>\n<p>According to Magoon, GBTC has traded at a premium as high as 70% over NAV, although recently it has traded below the NAV.</p>\n<p>This extra volatility led BLOK to completely sell out of its GBTC position, Magoon said. It now holds shares of Canadian exchange traded funds that invest in bitcoin. Magoon says those tend to trade close to NAV. An example of a Canadian bitcoin ETF held by block is the Purpose Bitcoin ETF .</p>\n<p>BCLN tends to have more holdings than BLOK -- 69 stocks at the end of the second quarter. (PYPL) and Square Inc. $(SQSP)$ in the portfolio, but both provide services allowing customers to buy and sell bitcoin.\nMagoon emphasized that the diversification of BLOK's portfolio lowered risk, but acknowledged that the ETF's performance is still closely correlated with bitcoin.\nEarly this year, the Securities and Exchange Commission gave permission for BLOK to hold shares of the Grayscale Bitcoin Trust (GBTC), which has a market capitalization of $6.6 billion. It has been a popular way for investors and traders to \"play\" bitcoin indirectly. But it has its own risks, as its share price at times can rise to a very high premium over the trust's net asset value (the value of its investments at the end of the trading day divided by the number of shares). This means GBTC has an extra layer of volatility on top of bitcoin's price.\nAccording to Magoon, GBTC has traded at a premium as high as 70% over NAV, although recently it has traded below the NAV.\nThis extra volatility led BLOK to completely sell out of its GBTC position, Magoon said. It now holds shares of Canadian exchange traded funds that invest in bitcoin. Magoon says those tend to trade close to NAV. An example of a Canadian bitcoin ETF held by block is the Purpose Bitcoin ETF .\nBCLN tends to have more holdings than BLOK -- 69 stocks at the end of the second quarter. It is also less concentrated. BLOK's 10 largest holdings make up 45% of the portfolio. It, like so many other cliches, sticks around because it is largely true. Investors who buy and hold stocks for several years instead of trading in and out of positions on a regular basis tend to do much better.Investing over the long haul allows you to buy quality companies and let growing earnings and cash flow do the heavy lifting for you. Three energy companies that look like good companies to buy and hold for several years right now are Cheniere Energy (NYSEMKT:LNG), NextEra Energy Partners (NYSE:NEP) and Enterprise Products Partners (NYSE:EPD). Here's why these three energy stocks are ideal candidates for a buy-and-hold portfolio. The market is giving the \"full steam ahead\" signal for CheniereA decision as big as building or expanding a liquid natural gas (LNG) facility means a lot of things need to go right. These types of investments need to be profitable for decades, so a management team has to be sure that demand for its product will be there for decades into the future.Fortunately for natural gas exporter Cheniere Energy, the market seems to be saying that there is plenty of demand out. In the last six months of 2021, the company was able to secure sales contracts totaling 4.25 million tons per year of production for at least the next 13 years. Those contracts will help to justify management's planned 10 million-ton-per-year expansion at its Texas export facility. For those counting at home, the company's current facilities can produce and ship 45 million tones of LNG per year. This is the largest growth project on the horizon for Cheniere, but investors don't need to wait for that project to see considerable returns. Its current operations are profitable and throwing off a lot of free cash flow. That cash has allowed management to instate a major shareholder return program that will include paying down $1 billion in debt annually for the next three years, pay a dividend of $1.33 per share -- a yield of 1.15% -- and a $1 billion share repurchase program. The combination of a clear line of sight to considerable growth, a current operation that is throwing off cash by the truckload, and a management team willing to share the riches with shareholders make Cheniere an attractive buy-and-hold investment right now.A fast-growing renewable power producer with the backing of a big utilityInvestors who have looked at the utility sector have undoubtedly come across NextEra Energy (NYSE:NEE). It's the largest utility in the U.S. and has been a market-crushing stock over the past decade. What is less known, though, is that it has a publicly traded subsidiary that's growing even faster.NextEra, the parent company, sells long-term contracted renewable power assets to NextEra Energy Partners once they are developed. NextEra gets the cash to develop even more assets, and NextEra Energy Partners investors get a stable portfolio of power generating assets that throw off lots of cash to pay a generous dividend. It's a relationship that worked well for investors as NextEra Energy Partners' total returns -- dividends and share price gains -- are higher than NextEra Energy's over the past five years. The one potential hang-up for investors is that NextEra Energy Partners' growth is wholly reliant on the parent company's decisions. While there is no reason right now to think that the parent company will stop selling assets to the partnership, there is always the chance that management could change course in the future. But, if management continues on its current plan, then investors can expect good things for the next several years. Management is projecting distribution growth in the range of 12% to 15% per year through 2024, and that number isn't too far off from what it has achieved in the past five. So with a current payout yielding 3.55% and a good chance of that growing by double-digits or more over the next several years, NextEra energy Partners looks like a stong buy-and-hold candidate.LNG Total Return Level data by YCharts2022: A pivotal year for Enterprise Products Partners investorsAs a long-term shareholder of Enterprise Products Partners, I can say that the past several years have been a bit disappointing. The oil and gas industry has not done well over the past five years, and Enterprise has been no exception. Its pipelines, petrochemical facilities, and other energy infrastructure operations continued to perform well over that time, but it hasn't necessarily translated into shareholder returns.Enterprise has been in the middle of a strategic change that has affected its payout to investors. Management wanted to be less reliant on debt and equity to fund future growth. So to free up cash from operations, it slammed the brakes on payout growth for several years. Sure, the payout was never cut and the business remained as stable as it always has been, but growth was tepid.Fortunately, it looks as if its finances have turned the corner and it can get back to rewarding shareholders again. Earlier this month, management announced both a 3.3% increase to its quarterly payout and it has started using excess cash to buy back units (master limited partnerships have units instead of shares). There may not be a lot of growth opportunities for oil and gas pipelines over the next several years, but Enterprise's business is generating enough cash that it can grow its payout and buy back more units to bolster returns. With a current distribution yield of 7.8% and a better chance at a growing payout over the next several years, it could be a good time to buy Enterprise Products Partners and hold it for several years.","news_type":1,"symbols_score_info":{"EPD":1,"LNG":1,"NEE":1,"NEP":1}},"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":420,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":881524280,"gmtCreate":1631367549140,"gmtModify":1676530536466,"author":{"id":"3584817540991212","authorId":"3584817540991212","name":"FALCON","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/c0d98873fea539ae720f8695900f4238","crmLevel":12,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"3584817540991212","authorIdStr":"3584817540991212"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"Nice","listText":"Nice","text":"Nice","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":6,"commentSize":2,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://ttm.financial/post/881524280","repostId":"1147045390","repostType":4,"repost":{"id":"1147045390","kind":"news","pubTimestamp":1631321547,"share":"https://ttm.financial/m/news/1147045390?lang=en_US&edition=fundamental","pubTime":"2021-09-11 08:52","market":"us","language":"en","title":"Why Apple’s Risk Is Limited","url":"https://stock-news.laohu8.com/highlight/detail?id=1147045390","media":"Barrons","summary":"Apple faces real, but limited, risk to its revenue and profits from Friday’s ruling that requires it to allow developers to offer alternative payment methods for purchases made in apps downloaded through the Apple app store. In a case filed by Fortnite publisher Epic Games, U.S. District Judge Yvonne Gonzalez Rogers issued a permanent injunction that requires Apple to allow developers the option to include links to alternative payment methods in their apps. Apple’s own payment system takes a 30% cut from large developers.</p>\n<p>Data from the app tracker SensorTower shows that in calendar 2020, Apple had overall revenue from the App Store of $72.3 billion, generating an estimated $21.7 billion in fees, or about 7% of Apple’s overall revenues. That includes $21 billion in spending in the U.S., generating about $6.3 billion in fees, or about 2% of annualized revenues.</p>\n<p>SensorTower estimates that mobile-game spending in the App Store in calendar 2020 was $47.6 billion, generating $14.3 billion in fees, or a little under 5% of Apple’s total revenues.</p>\n<p>Gene Munster, managing director of the venture firm Loup Capital and a former sell-side analyst with a long history of tracking Apple, estimated that the App Store accounts for about 14% of the company’s profits. But he sees limited risk from Friday’s ruling.</p>\n<p>Munster thinks most app developers will stay inside of the Apple system. He sees “at most” a 2% headwind to overall revenue, and a potential 4% hit to profits.</p>\n<p>“After the first year of these changes, app store growth rates will return to normal,” he said. “Bottom line, it’s at most a one-year headwind and does not change the big picture of where Apple is going over the next 5 years.”</p>\n<p>Evercore ISI analyst Amit Daryanani said in a research note that the ruling is a setback for Apple, but that the eventual impact is likely to be manageable, given Apple has alternative ways to generate revenue from the store, including its growing in-store ad business. And he noted that Apple actually got a win on a bigger issue in the case: The judge rejected Epic’s assertion that the App Store is an illegal monopoly. Daryanani estimated the risk to Apple’s per-share earnings at 2% to 4%.</p>\n<p>Wedbush analyst Dan Ives told <i>Barron’s</i> he thinks the worst-case scenario is a 3% to 4% hit to revenues, describing the risk as a “rounding error.” While Ives said the Street had expected an across-the-board win for Apple, the mixed decision removes an overhang on the stock and that investors are likely relieved to put the issue to rest.</p>\n<p>The ruling is more a positive for companies like Spotify Technology and Match Group than it is a negative for Apple, he said. That includes $21 billion in spending in the U.S., generating about $6.3 billion in fees, or about 2% of annualized revenues.\nSensorTower estimates that mobile-game spending in the App Store in calendar 2020 was $47.6 billion, generating $14.3 billion in fees, or a little under 5% of Apple’s total revenues.\nGene Munster, managing director of the venture firm Loup Capital and a former sell-side analyst with a long history of tracking Apple, estimated that the App Store accounts for about 14% of the company’s profits. But he sees limited risk from Friday’s ruling.\nMunster thinks most app developers will stay inside of the Apple system. He sees “at most” a 2% headwind to overall revenue, and a potential 4% hit to profits.\n“After the first year of these changes, app store growth rates will return to normal,” he said. “Bottom line, it’s at most a one-year headwind and does not change the big picture of where Apple is going over the next 5 years.”\nEvercore ISI analyst Amit Daryanani said in a research note that the ruling is a setback for Apple, but that the eventual impact is likely to be manageable, given Apple has alternative ways to generate revenue from the store, including its growing in-store ad business. And he noted that Apple actually got a win on a bigger issue in the case: The judge rejected Epic’s assertion that the App Store is an illegal monopoly. Daryanani estimated the risk to Apple’s per-share earnings at 2% to 4%.\nWedbush analyst Dan Ives told Barron’s he thinks the worst-case scenario is a 3% to 4% hit to revenues, describing the risk as a “rounding error.” While Ives said the Street had expected an across-the-board win for Apple, the mixed decision removes an overhang on the stock and that investors are likely relieved to put the issue to rest.\nThe ruling is more a positive for companies like Spotify Technology and Match Group than it is a negative for Apple, he said. Apple stock fell 3.3% to $148.97 on Friday, while Spotify and March gained 0.7% and 4.2%, respectively.","news_type":1,"symbols_score_info":{"AAPL":0.9}},"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":492,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":880604028,"gmtCreate":1631051753564,"gmtModify":1676530450767,"author":{"id":"3584817540991212","authorId":"3584817540991212","name":"FALCON","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/c0d98873fea539ae720f8695900f4238","crmLevel":12,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"3584817540991212","authorIdStr":"3584817540991212"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"Nice","listText":"Nice","text":"Nice","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":6,"commentSize":2,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://ttm.financial/post/880604028","repostId":"2165354350","repostType":4,"repost":{"id":"2165354350","kind":"highlight","weMediaInfo":{"introduction":"Dow Jones publishes the world’s most trusted business news and financial information in a variety of media.","home_visible":0,"media_name":"Dow Jones","id":"106","head_image":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/150f88aa4d182df19190059f4a365e99"},"pubTimestamp":1631027400,"share":"https://ttm.financial/m/news/2165354350?lang=en_US&edition=fundamental","pubTime":"2021-09-07 23:10","market":"hk","language":"en","title":"Gold futures on track for sharpest daily tumble in a month as Treasury yields and U.S. dollar rise","url":"https://stock-news.laohu8.com/highlight/detail?id=2165354350","media":"Dow Jones","summary":"Gold futures on Tuesday were on track for the sharpest daily fall in about a month as the U.S. dolla","content":"<p>Gold futures on Tuesday were on track for the sharpest daily fall in about a month as the U.S. dollar strengthened and Treasury yields climbed, weighing on appetite for precious metals.</p>\n<p>The weakness in gold is likely a \"classic 'give back' of an overdone reaction to the [Federal Reserve's] likely hold stance following a serious 'miss' on the August U.S. payroll report,\" analysts at Zaner wrote in Tuesday's markets commentary.</p>\n<p>U.S. data released Friday showed a lower-than-expected increase in new U.S. jobs in August, prompting prices for the precious metal to notch a gain for the week and mark their highest finish since mid-June.</p>\n<p>On Tuesday, December gold declined by $22.40, or 1.2%, to trade at $1,811.40 an ounce, putting the precious metal on track for the sharpest <a href=\"https://laohu8.com/S/AONE.U\">one</a>-day slide for a most-active contract since Aug. 9, FactSet data show. October platinum shed 0.7% to $1,1014.10 an ounce and December palladium traded at $2,374.50 an ounce, down 1.7%.","news_type":1,"symbols_score_info":{}},"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":506,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":9923067907,"gmtCreate":1670759724910,"gmtModify":1676538428956,"author":{"id":"3584817540991212","authorId":"3584817540991212","name":"FALCON","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/c0d98873fea539ae720f8695900f4238","crmLevel":12,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"3584817540991212","authorIdStr":"3584817540991212"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"<a href=\"https://ttm.financial/S/LOGI\">$Logitech International SA(LOGI)$ </a>interesting","listText":"<a href=\"https://ttm.financial/S/LOGI\">$Logitech International SA(LOGI)$ </a>interesting","text":"$Logitech International SA(LOGI)$ interesting","images":[{"img":"https://community-static.tradeup.com/news/292342a49683a84caf7315ffa462727b","width":"1080","height":"3126"}],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":7,"commentSize":1,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://ttm.financial/post/9923067907","isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":575,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":1,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":869572359,"gmtCreate":1632311506971,"gmtModify":1676530749008,"author":{"id":"3584817540991212","authorId":"3584817540991212","name":"FALCON","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/c0d98873fea539ae720f8695900f4238","crmLevel":12,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"3584817540991212","authorIdStr":"3584817540991212"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"Ok","listText":"Ok","text":"Ok","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":3,"commentSize":3,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://ttm.financial/post/869572359","repostId":"2169659162","repostType":4,"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":391,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":817895242,"gmtCreate":1630928262386,"gmtModify":1676530422391,"author":{"id":"3584817540991212","authorId":"3584817540991212","name":"FALCON","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/c0d98873fea539ae720f8695900f4238","crmLevel":12,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"3584817540991212","authorIdStr":"3584817540991212"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"Nice","listText":"Nice","text":"Nice","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":6,"commentSize":1,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://ttm.financial/post/817895242","repostId":"2165841143","repostType":4,"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":665,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":9090220935,"gmtCreate":1643202943650,"gmtModify":1676533784469,"author":{"id":"3584817540991212","authorId":"3584817540991212","name":"FALCON","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/c0d98873fea539ae720f8695900f4238","crmLevel":12,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"3584817540991212","authorIdStr":"3584817540991212"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"Nice","listText":"Nice","text":"Nice","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":3,"commentSize":0,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://ttm.financial/post/9090220935","repostId":"2206686168","repostType":4,"repost":{"id":"2206686168","kind":"highlight","pubTimestamp":1643197597,"share":"https://ttm.financial/m/news/2206686168?lang=en_US&edition=fundamental","pubTime":"2022-01-26 19:46","market":"us","language":"en","title":"3 No-Brainer Stocks to Buy Right Now for Less than $100","url":"https://stock-news.laohu8.com/highlight/detail?id=2206686168","media":"Motley Fool","summary":"The market has given investors a gift with these three stocks that used to trade for more than $100.","content":"<div>\n<p>The recent market sell-off has driven many stock prices down. Most impacted are high-flying tech stocks that were overextended with extreme valuations. Three stocks I think are no-brainer buys and under $100 per share are The Trade Desk (NASDAQ:TTD), Procore Technologies (NYSE:PCOR), and Cloudflare (NYSE:NET).Each is down at least 40% from its 52-week high and used to trade above $100, yet all three of their businesses are thriving. Industry tailwinds are also in favor of this trio, and wise investors will use this opportunity to scale into these discounted stocks. The Trade DeskThe Trade Desk powers digital advertisement through its demand-side platform. Businesses use its software to bid on advertisement space on podcasts, connected TV, or just static images. It also provides insights into how an advertising campaign is going and its Koa artificial intelligence can give suggestions on how to maximize success. With about 10% of a business's budget typically spent on advertising, The Trade Desk is in a prime market.Back in November 2021, The Trade Desk reported an excellent third quarter. Its revenue growth accelerated from 32% to 39% when compared the year-ago quarter. Net income (yes, actual un-adjusted profits) rose even quicker at 44% at a 20% margin. For the seventh year in a row, more than 95% of customers were retained, showcasing the platform's stickiness.Looking forward to The Trade Desk's fourth-quarter earnings, the company projected $388 million in revenue which would equate to 21% revenue growth. While this would mark a deceleration of revenue growth, growing profitably at more than a 20% clip makes The Trade Desk a safe stock to grab almost down almost 50% from its all-time high.ProcoreConstruction is one of the last industries touched by the digital revolution. Until recently, technology hadn't advanced enough for the internet and hardware to be usable on job sites. Now, all involved parties -- like contractors, engineers, and project owners -- can be informed on progress through a single platform provided by Procore.Additionally, it ensures everyone is on the same page. For example, the owner could request a building change, the engineer or architect then updates the drawings, and the modification is passed to the contractor through Procore. The old method of processing changes through paper and pencil is slow and causes $500 billion in rework expenses globally, according to the company.Procore's solution is seeing gradual adoption, as the construction industry is notorious for resisting change. However, Procore still grew its Q3 revenue 30% over the last year to $132 million. Additionally, it is rolling out its platform into Germany and France, which will expand Procore's reach.Net customer adds increased 4% to more than 11,605 customers over the second quarter's count. Plus, for those interested in the long haul, 85% of accredited construction management programs teach Procore's platform at the university level. Tomorrow's construction management leaders are learning and using the program, and this bodes well for the future of the company.CloudflareThe internet has expanded into something its creators never anticipated. Cloudflare's products usher in a new age for speed, security, and reliability. Instead of bulky on-premise hardware, Cloudflare connects its users to the internet through the cloud, a hybrid approach, or still on-premise if the customer desires.Cloudflare's operations aren't small; it has over 132,000 paying customers and 1,260 of those pay more than $100,000 annually. Its dollar-based net retention rate -- which measures how much customers spent this quarter versus last year -- was 124% in Q3, up from 116% last year. Total revenue grew 51% quarter over quarter, in line with its five-year compound annual growth rate of 50% dating back to 2016. Clearly, Cloudflare is an execution machine and with an $86 billion total addressable market, it has plenty of room to grow its business. With how successful Cloudflare has been, it's no surprise the market valued it highly.NET PS Ratio data by YChartsEven after it has fallen nearly 60% from its peak (which was probably warranted due to extreme valuation), it still trades at a premium price-to-sales ratio. Cloudflare remains an expensive stock, but its future potential and past execution make it a strong stock pick for the future. The internet isn't going anywhere, and anybody who wants to put content on it is a potential Cloudflare customer. With any stock sell-off, investors must analyze the cause to see if the stock or the business is struggling. If it is a broken business, it could be time to sell with the crowd and move on. With these three, I believe it is a case of a broken stock. While none may return to previous valuation levels, business growth will push each stock to new highs. I don't know when this will occur, but holding these stocks for at least five years should give the companies plenty of time to execute their vision. If the businesses flourish, the stocks will follow.","news_type":1,"symbols_score_info":{"PCOR":1,"NET":1}},"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":730,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":9005561862,"gmtCreate":1642367286381,"gmtModify":1676533703585,"author":{"id":"3584817540991212","authorId":"3584817540991212","name":"FALCON","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/c0d98873fea539ae720f8695900f4238","crmLevel":12,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"3584817540991212","authorIdStr":"3584817540991212"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"Like","listText":"Like","text":"Like","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":3,"commentSize":0,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://ttm.financial/post/9005561862","repostId":"2203742646","repostType":4,"repost":{"id":"2203742646","kind":"highlight","pubTimestamp":1642297021,"share":"https://ttm.financial/m/news/2203742646?lang=en_US&edition=fundamental","pubTime":"2022-01-16 09:37","market":"us","language":"en","title":"2 Top Tech Stocks to Buy for the Long Haul","url":"https://stock-news.laohu8.com/highlight/detail?id=2203742646","media":"Motley Fool","summary":"These companies operate in growing industries and trade at reasonable valuations.","content":"<div>\n<p>Technological innovation continues to influence how we live, from how we watch television to remote work. A lot has changed globally over the past few decades, and long-term stock winners like Amazon and Netflix have used these tailwinds to reach great heights on the market.Looking ahead for the next big winners, Coupang (NYSE:CPNG) and Autodesk (NASDAQ:ADSK) are two top technology stocks to buy for the long haul as they ride their own tides of change.CoupangCoupang has built a gigantic e-commerce and retail operation in South Korea with a goal to \"wow each customer\" who places an order using its app. The company owns an end-to-end delivery and logistics network, giving it an advantage over its e-commerce peers in South Korea by providing blazing-fast shipping. At the time of its IPO last year, nearly 100% of Coupang's orders had next-day delivery or faster. With more efficient service, Coupang has been able to attract millions of Koreans to become active customers on its marketplace. At the end of the third quarter, it had 16.8 million active customers, up 20% year over year (its 15th consecutive quarter of at least 20% growth). Total revenue increased 48% to $4.6 billion, driven by that customer growth as well as 23% higher revenue per active customer.Couang has increased customer spending by adding services to its online marketplace and expanding its delivery infrastructure. These include Coupang Eats (a food delivery service that was one of the top two downloaded apps in South Korea last year) and Rocket Fresh (same-day grocery delivery). All these services have required major capital investments with eight million square feet of infrastructure space added and $506 million in capital expenditures through the first nine months of this year. These investments are costly, but they should insulate Coupang from competition that cannot match the scale of its end-to-end delivery network. With a market cap of about $38 billion as of this writing and an impressive track record of top-line growth, Coupang could be a great technology stock to buy now and hold for the long haul. Plus, with its price-to-sales valuation falling to just 2.2, the lowest level in the company's brief history on the market, the stock trades at a bargain valuation relative to its growth potential.AutodeskUnlike Coupang, which is trying to build out a technological advantage that combines the physical and digital worlds, Autodesk solely operates in the software realm. However, its customers are the designers and builders of a lot of the physical infrastructure and real estate around the globe. At its core, Autodesk provides software for people and corporations that build things. This includes designers and architects, who use its Revit and AutoCAD products; engineers of all types, who use software like Fusion 360; and increasingly, construction workers, who employ the Autodesk Construction Cloud. The company also has a small media and entertainment division that sells 3D animation and visual effects software.Autodesk is riding a few major trends around the world. The first is building information modeling (BIM), a new standard of keeping all relevant information for a building (among other things) in a software program. Revit, Autodesk's biggest product, is the clear leader in this category. The BIM industry is expected to grow at close to 4% through 2028, which will fuel sales for Revit. The company is also benefiting from the growth of digitization and cloud collaboration in the engineering, construction, and infrastructure markets. For example, with the $1.2 trillion infrastructure bill recently passed in the United States, many of the dollars being allocated will go to industries that Autodesk serves like the builders of roads, bridges, and water systems. This flow of capital will hopefully provide a strong tailwind for Autodesk to grow its customer base.ADSK free cash flow per share. Data by YCharts. TTM = trailing 12 months.Autodesk is not a cheap stock with a current market cap of $56 billion and a price-to-sales ratio of 13.4 based on its trailing-12-month numbers. But the company has impressive margins and is guiding for $2.4 billion in free cash flow (FCF) for the next fiscal year (starting in Feb. 2022) with double-digit FCF growth through 2026. If the company can hit this target, that would give it a forward price-to-FCF of 23.5, which is right around the market average now. With such strong tailwinds coming from BIM and the digitization of the industries it serves, Autodesk has a clear path to growing steadily over the next decade, making it a top stock to own for the long term.","news_type":1,"symbols_score_info":{"FCF":1,"CPNG":1,"ADSK":1}},"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":711,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":863256372,"gmtCreate":1632401542896,"gmtModify":1676530773009,"author":{"id":"3584817540991212","authorId":"3584817540991212","name":"FALCON","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/c0d98873fea539ae720f8695900f4238","crmLevel":12,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"3584817540991212","authorIdStr":"3584817540991212"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"Nice","listText":"Nice","text":"Nice","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":1,"commentSize":3,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://ttm.financial/post/863256372","repostId":"1133566174","repostType":4,"repost":{"id":"1133566174","kind":"news","pubTimestamp":1632397453,"share":"https://ttm.financial/m/news/1133566174?lang=en_US&edition=fundamental","pubTime":"2021-09-23 19:44","market":"us","language":"en","title":"Despite Vaccine Uncertainty, Pfizer Is a Buy","url":"https://stock-news.laohu8.com/highlight/detail?id=1133566174","media":"InvestorPlace","summary":"Forget the booster shot controversy, PFE stock has better days ahead.\n\nWhat would happen if a compan","content":"<div>\n<p>Forget the booster shot controversy, PFE stock has better days ahead.\n\nWhat would happen if a company developed a massive new product and no one cared? For Pfizer’s investors, that has been the question for the past year. Despite coming up with a blockbuster vaccine for the novel coronavirus, PFE stock did basically nothing for an extended period.\nThat finally changed this summer, when Pfizer belatedly rallied to new all-time highs. Now though, the gains are fading almost as quickly as they happened. In its Q2 earnings release, Pfizer reported 93% year-over-year revenue growth. Yet shares are up less than 20% over the past 12 months. Why have investors not given Pfizer credit for its performance, and will that change in the future?\nVaccine Hits A Setback\nPfizer has enjoyed incredible revenue growth over the past year due to its Covid-19 vaccine. The majority of vaccinated American adults have taken the Pfizer vaccine, and it’s had strong sales overseas as well.\nDespite that, however, PFE stock didn’t move too much. At least, not until July of this year. At that time, PFE stock finally took off. The reason why is that investors started to price in the expectation that people would need to take vaccine booster shots to maintain efficacy.\nThe idea of a third, and potentially even fourth or more dose of vaccines would have created a far more enduring revenue boost for Pfizer. Up until recently, investors had shied away from Pfizer despite its massive top-line growth because they anticipated that the Covid business would quickly recede. With booster shots, however, the vaccine would have taken on another level of importance to the company.\nThis scenario is now under increasing doubt, however. A Food and Drug Administration (FDA) advisory panel recentlyrecommended againstadvising booster shots of the Pfizer vaccine. A large majority of the panelists voted that the data on hand was insufficient to warrant booster shots. That comes amid reports that Moderna’s(NASDAQ:MRNA) vaccine remains effective in a higher percentage of people than Pfizer’s after 120 days.\nThis is hardly the final word on booster shots or the efficacy of Moderna versus Pfizer. Pfizer’s investors shouldn’t discount the possibility that the FDA later comes around on additional rounds of the vaccine. For now, however, the prospects are looking more uncertain.\nBaseline Valuation Is Not That Demanding\nLet’s go back in time to 2019 and pretend that we’ve never heard of the pandemic. What does an investment in Pfizer look like in this hypothetical scenario? For full-year 2018, Pfizer generated $1.87 of EPS. In 2019, this leapt to $2.87.\nBased on today’s stock price just below $44, PFE stock is selling at 23x 2018 earnings or 15x 2019 earnings. With no benefit from the current Covid-19 vaccine whatsoever, Pfizer stock would still be going for a reasonable multiple.\nYes, you can argue that pharmaceutical companies should trade for lower P/E multiples than many other industries given the high cost of drug development and quick patent expiries. Still, with earnings as strong as they were in 2018-19, it’s not hard to get behind the stock at $44 even if you give the company zero credit for the Covid-19 vaccine. Forget about booster shots for a minute, traders are pricing Pfizer like there will be little more revenue from the vaccine whatsoever.\nPFE Stock Verdict\nRight now, Pfizer stock is inextricably linked to its vaccine’s outlook. When there is positive news on that front, PFE stock surges. When there is a setback, PFE stock sells off hard. That’s a totally understandable market reaction. Many traders are trained to react quickly to the latest headline.\nFor longer-term investors, however, Pfizer is an opportunity regardless of the trajectory of the vaccine. Even if boosters ultimately aren’t a big thing, Pfizer can still make investors money from this entry point.\nThe company is a tremendous diversified pharmaceutical giant. It was in good shape long before the pandemic, and it has dozens of promising drugs in its pipeline to power it for the next decade and beyond. The company is reaping a windfall right now, but it’s not like that’s its only iron in the fire.\nIf the Covid-19 business continues longer than forecast, that’s all upside to the stock price. However, from this starting point, there’s sufficient margin of safety to support a purchase in most possible outcomes.","news_type":1,"symbols_score_info":{"PFE":0.9}},"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":538,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":813128755,"gmtCreate":1630155368677,"gmtModify":1676530235759,"author":{"id":"3584817540991212","authorId":"3584817540991212","name":"FALCON","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/c0d98873fea539ae720f8695900f4238","crmLevel":12,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"3584817540991212","authorIdStr":"3584817540991212"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"Nice","listText":"Nice","text":"Nice","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":5,"commentSize":1,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://ttm.financial/post/813128755","repostId":"2162907389","repostType":4,"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":546,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":9953167750,"gmtCreate":1673193219870,"gmtModify":1676538797323,"author":{"id":"3584817540991212","authorId":"3584817540991212","name":"FALCON","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/c0d98873fea539ae720f8695900f4238","crmLevel":12,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"3584817540991212","authorIdStr":"3584817540991212"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"<a
