This is a great news for Apple and OpenAi, and Microsoft. I look forward for how AI gonna work in Siri and iOS as a whole. Apple is known to give aethestic features that users have found useful and many other companies' phones usually follow suit. OpenAi will be made more popular with being in Apple users' phones. This increases their exposure and good for the company. Likewise, Microsoft will profit from here as well. Not only their investments will doubled, tripled in the future, they maybe able to gain benefit of the knowledge how Apple gonna use it for and apply similarly to Bing Copilot, or they may gain upper hand and use directly the new API that are to be provided to Apple. Just my two cents.

The successor has been workimg alongside Mr Buffett and Mr Munger for quite some time and probably understood their thinking. Plus Mr Buffet would have observed his successor closely before making the decision. His decision not to sell his holdings also show his trust on his successor. Well, who know he will do it later but as for now, the confident is high and Mf Buffet said his successor will do better than him, wow, thats a great compliment to his new successor. Hope all the best for his retirement and may Berkshire continue to thrive.
