That was the highest level since February 2018.
\n
A reading above 50 indicates expansion in manufacturing, which accounts for 11.9% of the U.S. economy. Economists polled by Reuters had forecast the index edging up to 58.9 in February.
\n
The increase was despite a global semiconductor chip shortage, which has hurt production at automobile plants.
\n
The survey added to solid January data on consumer spending, building permits, factory production and home sales in suggesting that the economy got off to a strong start in the first quarter, thanks to nearly $900 billion in additional COVID-19 relief money from the government and a drop in new coronavirus infections and hospitalizations.
\n
But the year-long pandemic has gummed up the supply chain, boosting production costs for manufacturers. The survey’s measure of prices paid by manufacturers jumped to a reading of 86.0, the highest since July 2008, from 82.1 in January.
\n
This follows data last month showing a surge in consumers’ near-term inflation expectations, and fits in with views that inflation will accelerate in the months ahead. That’s about the only “new low” scenario that would be acceptable, but let's not get too in-depth on the hypotheticals.\nBelow $213.70 and channel support is on the table.\nOn a bullish reaction, I’d love to see Salesforce stock break out over channel resistance and clear the February highs near $250.\nThat could put $270 in play, followed by the all-time high up at $284.50.","news_type":1,"symbols_score_info":{"CRM":0.9}},"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":1338,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":361680360,"gmtCreate":1614228410050,"gmtModify":1704889876001,"author":{"id":"3552098389056951","authorId":"3552098389056951","name":"沃斯特","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/4ec9f4e6a8cb64f717c3506171561fa8","crmLevel":11,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"authorIdStr":"3552098389056951","idStr":"3552098389056951"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"Wah","listText":"Wah","text":"Wah","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":2,"commentSize":0,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://ttm.financial/post/361680360","repostId":"1138521814","repostType":4,"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":1173,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":361617797,"gmtCreate":1614228375819,"gmtModify":1704889875030,"author":{"id":"3552098389056951","authorId":"3552098389056951","name":"沃斯特","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/4ec9f4e6a8cb64f717c3506171561fa8","crmLevel":11,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"authorIdStr":"3552098389056951","idStr":"3552098389056951"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"Wah","listText":"Wah","text":"Wah","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":1,"commentSize":0,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://ttm.financial/post/361617797","repostId":"1138521814","repostType":4,"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":1420,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":361617625,"gmtCreate":1614228351667,"gmtModify":1704889874386,"author":{"id":"3552098389056951","authorId":"3552098389056951","name":"沃斯特","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/4ec9f4e6a8cb64f717c3506171561fa8","crmLevel":11,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"authorIdStr":"3552098389056951","idStr":"3552098389056951"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"wah","listText":"wah","text":"wah","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":1,"commentSize":0,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://ttm.financial/post/361617625","repostId":"1138521814","repostType":4,"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":971,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":369080317,"gmtCreate":1613988210839,"gmtModify":1704886506597,"author":{"id":"3552098389056951","authorId":"3552098389056951","name":"沃斯特","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/4ec9f4e6a8cb64f717c3506171561fa8","crmLevel":11,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"authorIdStr":"3552098389056951","idStr":"3552098389056951"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"Lol","listText":"Lol","text":"Lol","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":1,"commentSize":2,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://ttm.financial/post/369080317","repostId":"1106666176","repostType":4,"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":1031,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":369017660,"gmtCreate":1613988182250,"gmtModify":1704886504817,"author":{"id":"3552098389056951","authorId":"3552098389056951","name":"沃斯特","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/4ec9f4e6a8cb64f717c3506171561fa8","crmLevel":11,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"authorIdStr":"3552098389056951","idStr":"3552098389056951"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"Lol","listText":"Lol","text":"Lol","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":1,"commentSize":0,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://ttm.financial/post/369017660","repostId":"1179041252","repostType":4,"repost":{"id":"1179041252","kind":"news","pubTimestamp":1613983854,"share":"https://ttm.financial/m/news/1179041252?lang=en_US&edition=fundamental","pubTime":"2021-02-22 16:50","market":"us","language":"en","title":"Square Reports Earnings This Week. Literally.\nCalling Square (ticker: SQ) her top pick for 2021, Evercore ISI’s Rayna Kumar writes that it is the “most disruptive company in payments and banking.” She reiterated an Outperform rating on Thursday, with a $304 price target. “Disruption pays,” she writes, “pounding [the] table ahead of earnings.”\nSquare was ahead 2% on last Friday and is up 27% this year to recent prices around $280.\nThe payments app is riding a strong growth wave: Its Cash App has become a popular stock trading platform. Retail trading surged during the pandemic, and Cash App may have won over clients from Robinhood after that app briefly restricted trading in GameStop (GME).\nAccording to a small survey of Robinhood users by Mizuho Securities, nearly 40% of respondents who switched to other trading apps said they shifted to Cash App, beating other platforms like Stash, Fidelity, or TD Ameritrade (now owned byCharles Schwab).\nBitcoin’s surging price, recently hitting records around $50,000, is also fueling gains for Cash App; users can buy and trade the cryptocurrency on the app. Square buys the cryptocurrency and resells it to users, taking a cut of transactions. The company posted about $1.6 billion in total Bitcoin revenue in the third quarter, though net revenue, after costs for the currency, was just $32 million.\nKumar expects Square to beat consensus estimates in the fourth quarter of 2020 and throughout 2021. She sees Square posting net revenue of $924 million in the quarter with Ebitda—earnings before interest, tax, depreciation, and amortization—of $160 million, ahead of consensus estimates of $141 million. She sees the firm posting adjusted net revenue of $4.3 billion in 2021, resulting in adjusted Ebitda of $825 million, 24% above consensus estimates.\nCash App may have boosted active users by 56% in January, according to Evercore surveys. The app had 33 million users in the September quarter, and Kumar expects the company to hit 40 million in the fourth quarter.\nKumar notes that Square is working to integrate Cash App with its Seller App used by merchants to process payments. The company is integrating the ecosystems through new products like Instant Payments from merchants to employees and On-Demand Pay, giving employees a way to quickly access up to $200 per pay period in Cash App.\nWolfe Research’s Darrin Peller also reiterated a bullish view, maintaining an Outperform rating and $335 target. He expects shares to “grind higher over the next several months,” fueled by Bitcoin, stock trading, and growth trends in Cash App.\n“Square stands out as a material share gainer across its businesses, solidifying its status as a global leader,” he wrote in a note on Thursday.\nInvestors are paying a steep multiple for Square’s growth. The company is expected to earn 76 cents a share in the next 12 months, giving it a price-to-earnings ratio of 370 times.\nAnalysts value stocks like Square on a multiple of revenue, but that doesn’t make it much cheaper. Assuming $4.2 billion in net revenue this year, the shares trade at 66 times sales.PayPal Holdings(PYPL), by contrast, fetches 13 times sales.\nValuation is keeping Piper Sandler analyst Christopher Donat on the sidelines. He has kept a Neutral rating on the stock since initiating coverage last July. His current price target is $190.\n“We’ve had a tough time putting an overweight on it, and it’s even tougher liking the valuation now,” he said. The pace of downloads of Cash App has been slowing, he points out, leading to slower growth of active users. He is also concerned about ongoing sales weakness at small bricks-and-mortar merchants such as restaurants.\n“I think Square is a great growth story with a long runway but I’m uncomfortable with the valuation,” he said. Square trades at 15 times enterprise value to revenue, compared with 11 times forPayPal Holdings, which is his top pick in payments.\nSquare is scheduled to report earnings after the close on Feb. 23. Asked if he plans to raise his rating on the stock, Donat said “never say never …but I might be wrong on this one.”","news_type":1,"symbols_score_info":{"SQ":0.9}},"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":989,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":360644821,"gmtCreate":1613913749263,"gmtModify":1704885887503,"author":{"id":"3552098389056951","authorId":"3552098389056951","name":"沃斯特","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/4ec9f4e6a8cb64f717c3506171561fa8","crmLevel":11,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"authorIdStr":"3552098389056951","idStr":"3552098389056951"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"?","listText":"?","text":"?","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":0,"commentSize":0,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://ttm.financial/post/360644821","repostId":"1163973263","repostType":4,"repost":{"id":"1163973263","kind":"news","weMediaInfo":{"introduction":"Reuters.com brings you the latest news from around the world, covering breaking news in markets, business, politics, entertainment and technology","home_visible":1,"media_name":"Reuters","id":"1036604489","head_image":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/443ce19704621c837795676028cec868"},"pubTimestamp":1613717057,"share":"https://ttm.financial/m/news/1163973263?lang=en_US&edition=fundamental","pubTime":"2021-02-19 14:44","market":"us","language":"en","title":"Chinese grocery app Xingsheng Youxuan raises $2 bln in new funding round - sources","url":"https://stock-news.laohu8.com/highlight/detail?id=1163973263","media":"Reuters","summary":"HONG KONG, Feb 19 (Reuters) - Chinese community groceryshopping app Xingsheng Youxuan has raised abo","content":"
HONG KONG, Feb 19 (Reuters) - Chinese community groceryshopping app Xingsheng Youxuan has raised about $2 billion in anew funding round that values the company at $6 billion prior tothe fresh capital injection, three people with knowledge of thematter told Reuters.
\n
Private equity firms FountainVest Partners, PrimaveraCapital Group and KKR & Co are among investors in thisround, two sources said.
