$Lumentum(LITE)$ Third lowest volume day of the month, and it held fairly flat while the broader market was red. I still see 1000 by Friday close. Nothing goes straight up.
$Palantir Technologies Inc.(PLTR)$ This is my biggest position and I'm still holding it for the long term. Not selling. For active traders, here are the pullback levels I'm watching.
With the bullish developments across the photonics sector and positive signals from $Lumentum(LITE)$ and $Ciena(CIEN)$ , when do you expect $Fabrinet(FN)$ to finally start recovering? Do you think we'll see a meaningful rebound before the next earnings report in early November, or will earnings be the catalyst that finally drives the stock higher? Curious to hear your thoughts on the timing.
$Lumentum(LITE)$ Many hedge fund managers now agree that AI infrastructure spending for 2027 will be at least one (1) trillion. This market is going up for many years to come.
Top 10 photonics plays across the light-speed stack. AI's next bottleneck isn't compute, it's interconnect. As speeds push past 1.6T, the trade shifts from silicon to photonics. Five layers, wafer to test. Anchors, inflecting names, and speculative bets. The anchors: still running, but still in the trend. $Coherent(COHR)$ - Layer 3, Optics. 25% market share in transceivers. $5.81B FY25 revenue, +23% YoY. Named as an NVIDIA partner on Spectrum-X. Book-to-bill over 4x. Druckenmiller's pick. $Lumentum(LITE)$ - Layer 2, Lasers. The 200G EML monopoly. Only volume supplier of the lasers that make 1.6T transceivers possible. NVIDIA $2B exclusive supply agreement through end of decade. No second sourc
$Lumentum(LITE)$ One analyst just bad mouthed LITE, noting that it's trading around 100x forward/non-GAAP earnings, meaning even good results can lead to selling for profit taking. That take is pretty frustrating.
$Lumentum(LITE)$ After a roughly 10% correction, it's normal to see a small slowdown the following day. I'm holding, and I think it's going to bounce very soon.
$Lumentum(LITE)$ Adding to my position. This kind of pullback is normal and completely healthy. It shakes out weak-handed longs while catching new short sellers off guard. I'm staying long.
$Lumentum(LITE)$ Price action has been pretty jacked up lately. There's a gap trade almost every day, lol. It will be fine. There's just a ton of anxiety out there, and the algos and MMs take advantage of it.
$Lumentum(LITE)$ We filled the gap and now the bears are out talking about rates and how debt will get paid. Maybe they should take a look at the balance sheet.
$Corning(GLW)$ Heading to $160 by Friday. Someone bought a large block of $155 calls expiring this week. Just noting the setup looks very similar to LITE.
$Lumentum(LITE)$ With the short interest that built up over the past week and the ECOC coming up next week, I expect to see heavy short covering into Friday. Hoping we clear the 1030 level by Friday. Good luck to all longs.
$Palantir Technologies Inc.(PLTR)$ Alex is expected to appear on CNBC soon. He may show up alongside Scott Boatwright from Chipotle to discuss the partnership. QSR is a massive industry, and it is an area Palantir could penetrate really well.
$Lumentum(LITE)$ LITE Lumentum quarterly earnings came in at 1.10, 1.67, 2.40, and 3.23, with an estimate of 4.21 next. Quarter-over-quarter growth has been running at 52%, 44%, 35%, and 30%. That looks like a solid long-term setup to me.
$Palantir Technologies Inc.(PLTR)$ How could any investor in their right mind go after the #1 AI company on the planet that consistently scores home run after home run with blowout earnings every quarter. Even Burry is starting to come around, having sold all his December puts against it. This is a $300+ stock in 2027.
$Palantir Technologies Inc.(PLTR)$ This is a retirement stock. Bears will keep talking trash because patience isn't in their vocabulary. I've held since $19. Hold it for 15 years and call it a day. The Shawn Ryan podcast with PLTR pretty much solidified my stance.
$Lumentum(LITE)$ Lumentum jumped 11% in a day after two banks started coverage at Buy. Deutsche Bank's Gianmarco Conti initiated at Buy with a $1,200 target on August 31, making the case that the company wins under every architecture, whether pluggable transceivers persist or co-packaged optics take over. Evercore ISI's Amit Daryanani opened at Outperform with a $1,100 target the same week. The real driver behind the bullish notes is the order rate. Hurlston said the company's largest customer has increased their orders very significantly since the last earnings call, a huge uptick that gave management confidence to raise its 2028 outlook.
$Infleqtion(INFQ)$ Trust the process and look beyond the stock price action. Quantum computing and quantum sensing are now where $Palantir Technologies Inc.(PLTR)$ was after it dropped from $40 to $6. Big players are loading up cheap and will let this sector run when the time comes. The only edge you can have, like billionaire hedge funds, is getting in early and waiting for the thesis to play out. You never know when the big news will hit or when money will pour into the sector. Everything we're seeing now points to a future where, by 2030, quantum companies will be far more important than they are today. $IONQ Inc.(IONQ)$
