$Rum Group Inc(RUM)$ This is the kind of deal that changes the conversation around the space. Anthropic is reportedly the mystery customer behind RUM Group's $13.7 billion, six-year GPU-services agreement. That isn't hype. That is massive contracted AI compute demand tied to one of the biggest names in generative AI. You have a roughly $13.7B GPU services deal, a six-year agreement, compute coming from RUM's Maysville, GA data center, and a deal structured across 3 major tranches. The customer also received warrants for up to 50.8M RUM shares, which creates a serious incentive for a long-term relationship. Additional GPU-service agreements could unlock even more. And people are still saying the AI infrastructure buildout is slowing? Anthropic
$Bloom Energy Corp(BE)$ That's why I don't follow macro too closely. The market will find a new reason to panic every week anyway. Meanwhile, I can't even keep up with all the good news about Bloom. Oracle mentioning Bloom in a positive way is just the latest one.
$Bloom Energy Corp(BE)$ BE is ripping after hours. Shares are near 270.86, up about 7.09 percent. The catalyst is clear. Bloom Energy is set to join the S&P 500 on September 21 as part of the latest quarterly rebalance. Adding to it, UBS raised its price target to 325 from 300 and kept a Buy rating in place. It's not all clean upside, though. There's an ongoing securities class action tied to the stock, with a deadline later this month, so the story does carry some risk. Still, index inclusion tends to bring fresh institutional buying, and that flow looks like the main driver right now. Worth tracking how it holds up once the initial excitement settles.
$IREN Ltd(IREN)$ I'm expecting a drop to my price target of $15.00 or lower before year end. Honestly, that's the point where I plan to go long. The current price just doesn't make sense to me and would need to fall quite a bit from here.
$SpaceX(SPCX)$ If this stock is really going to move, it needs to get above $150 and hold there. The next earnings report is going to be a big deal. Make or break for the stock. I think we could touch that $225 high sooner rather than later.
$SpaceX(SPCX)$ Working with a 12–18 month price target of $300, based mostly on execution. The Q2 story looks like this: revenue was up 92% year over year. Connectivity revenue rose 66% on Starlink subscriber growth. SpaceX has $14.1 billion in contracted AI cloud sales. Starship completed reentry and came back intact. Falcon Heavy got NASA's $4.3 billion Roman Space Telescope deployed. SpaceX and Nvidia are working on the first Starmind orbital-compute satellite. Starbase Louisiana is meant to expand long-term Starship launch capacity, and the extra spectrum is a plus for Starlink Direct-to-Cell. SpaceX is now running across launch, connectivity and AI. As long as execution keeps coming through, I'm comfortable holding the $300 target.
$Direxion Daily Semiconductors Bear 3x Shares(SOXS)$ Made my money from 120 to 123 on SOXL, now moving back to SOXS. I get the sense Warsh will give a somewhat hawkish conference on rates, which should help SOXS. As always, I never hold over the weekend, whether it's SOXS or SOXL.
$Applied Optoelectronics(AAOI)$ This is why AAOI is aggressively ramping laser manufacturing capacity. The more they deliver for 1.6T, the higher the gross margin. By Q3, Q4 next year, when they deliver the CPO laser or EOSAP module to different customers, the gross margin will be even higher, because gross margin for laser is about 55%-65%. For EOSAP, the gross margin should be more than 50%, and that's more like Q3, Q4 next year. In the short term, the most important factor for gross margin improvement is the percentage of 1.6T transceiver, because gross margin is very good.
$Applied Optoelectronics(AAOI)$ I think this will trade above $120 for the next few months. I wouldn't go short until after EOY. Next earnings will most likely be as strong as this past quarter.
$SK hynix(SKHY)$ Analysts say SKHY has the largest percentage upside among memory stocks through the end of the year, at a minimum of 45%. Worth checking the numbers on that.
$Applied Optoelectronics(AAOI)$ The 800G ramp in Q2 played out pretty much as expected. Revenue hit $12.8 million, or 11.9% of total data center revenue, up more than tenfold year-over-year and more than doubled sequentially. Looking ahead, 800G revenue is expected to grow by nearly 5 times sequentially in Q3, with continued strong growth expected beyond that.
