SIA Engineering Launches Base Maintenance Facility in Malaysia

SIA Engineering (SGX:S59) is officially launching Base Maintenance Malaysia, its wholly owned base maintenance facility at Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah Airport, Subang, Malaysia, according to a Friday filing with the Singapore Exchange.

Part of SIAEC's regional base maintenance network, the newly activated complex features two hangars equipped to provide aircraft maintenance, repair and overhaul services for up to six narrowbody or widebody aircraft simultaneously.

The facility is set to open today, the filing said.
