The athleisure wear company reported adjusted earnings of $4.40 a share on $2.77 billion in revenue and said same-store sales climbed by 27%.

Carnival Corp â Shares of the cruise line climbed 2.5% in premarket trading after Susquehanna upgraded Carnival to positive from neutral. There is no doubt the timing of the article was bad since the S&P 500 has fallen 11.6% since publication and the price of SQQQ has gone from $39.89 to $59.07 up 48%. A short-term trader would have clearly benefitted by going opposite the recommendation. That said, we still believe current metrics in SQQQ indicate we are in the area of bear market lows. I want to reiterate that we are using SQQQ metrics to help determine long-term market trends, not short-term trading.

Letâs go over the basic numbers to see what they currently show.

The Price Action Of SQQQ

NAV of SQQQ(Michael McDonald)

It is clear from this five-year chart that SQQQ is for short-term traders, it is not for long-term investors. Since 2018, the fund is down 97%. The 3X leverage of the fund is what produces the large, short-term price changes that some short-term traders desire.

SQQQ Shares Outstanding

SQQQ Shares Outstanding vs the SPY(Michael McDonald)

Plotting shares outstanding of SQQQ against the S&P 500 shows rather good timing by short-term traders who use this ETF. It shows, on a relative basis, the greatest number of shares outstanding occurring at short-term market tops and fewer outstanding shares at short-term bottoms, after prices have fallen.

This means that more people are entering the fund than leaving it as prices reach highs, then, after prices have fallen, more traders are leaving the fund than entering it. This fact is pointed to by the five black line arrows, and it was not clear at the time of the first article.

The recent large drop from 133,951,000 shares outstanding on August 18th to 81,451,000 shares last Friday â a decline of 39% (indicated by the last arrow on the right) - appears to suggest there is a high probability we are at an intermediate term market low.

Market Low Confirmed By The Ratio Of Assets In ProShares Bull And Bear Funds

Proshare Bull-Bear Asset Ratio(Michael McDonald)

The ProShares "bull to bear" asset ratio is another way we measure investor sentiment. It takes the dollar value in all the ProShares bull funds and divides it by the dollar value of all the bear funds. At the market top in December there was over 10 times more money in bullish ProShares ETFs than bear market ETFs. It is now down to a little over two.

Itâs a contrary opinion indicator. For example, it clearly shows the surge of money into ProShares bull funds from September to December of last year, right before the start of the bear market. The ratio went from 6.5 to 10.5. Extremely bad timing.

Whatâs important now is that the asset ratio went to new lows as the S&P returned to the price lows of May. Notice the broken green lines in the graph. Itâs flat for stocks and slanted lower for the asset ratio. This means that even more ProShares investors believe the marketâs headed lower than at the May low. This again is what you want to see if youâre a contrarian. It suggests stock prices should move higher over at least the intermediate term.

An Important Caveat

While I'm not so worried about the American economy dragging down the stock market, I am worried about the risk of a global financial crisis doing it, triggered by the actions of narrow-minded central bankers focused on just their own economy. While central banks are looking after their own economies, no agency is looking after the well-being of the entire global financial system. This is a serious issue, which I explain in the ArticleI just wrote on the Puts and Calls ratio.

","collect":0,"html":"\n
\n
\n\n\n\n
SQQQ Metrics Still Indicate A Bear Market Bottom
\n\n
\n
\n
\n
\n
\nSQQQ Metrics Still Indicate A Bear Market Bottom\n
\n\n
\n\n\n2022-10-12 23:23 GMT+8 Seeking Alpha\n\n\n
\n\n
\n
\n
\n
SummaryThis is a follow up to an earlier SQQQ article I wrote on August 1st. Inflation is hovering near a 40-year high, dashing investorsâ hopes with the possibility that price pressures would weaken.

Fed Chair Jerome Powell raised interest rates by another three-quarters of a percentage point in the meeting last week. This marks the third consecutive interest rate hike of 0.75% and brings the benchmark interest rate to 3.0-3.25%, the highest level since 2008. The increase in interest rates will make borrowing expensive, driving up the cost of buying a new car or house or push up the cost of carrying credit card debt and thus slow down economic growth. The central bank also signaled that additional large rate hikes were likely at the upcoming meetings as it combats inflation that remains near a 40-year high.

Fed officials now expect the federal funds rate in a range of 4.25% to 4.5%, a full percentage point above 3.25% to 3.5% to end 2022, projected in June. This suggests that the central bank could approve another three-quarter point hike at its November meeting and then a half-point rate rise in December. The rapid pace of tightening has bolstered the case for the economy falling into recession.

Further, bouts of weak economic data across the globe added to global slowdown fears. Economic activity in China, the world's second-largest economy, has been declining and the property sector is also suffering. Euro zone inflation also rose to another record high.

Simplify Interest Rate Hedge ETF â Up 74.6%

Simplify Interest Rate Hedge ETF seeks to provide a hedge against a sharp increase in long-term interest rates and benefit from market stress when fixed-income volatility increases, while providing the potential for income. Here's why three Motley Fool contributors believe these stocks will rebound and pay off for investors over the long term.Chewy: Repeat customers will bring the stock back upJohn Ballard (Chewy): Chewy stock has fallen 70% from its all-time high in 2021, yet sales have continued to grow. The company's recurring revenue from customers who have pet food automatically shipped to their door every month gives Chewy a major advantage in the faltering economy. No matter how weak the economy gets, pet owners have to buy pet food and Chewy makes it easy. In the most recently reported six-month period, Autoship sales totaled 72.6% of Chewy's business, up from 69.8% in the year-ago period. Chewy continues to expand beyond hard goods to services, such as pet insurance and healthcare, which could significantly expand its profit margin, as it already seems to be doing. In the most recently reported six-month period, profit margin reached 0.8%. That is a healthy jump over the 0.5% in the year-ago quarter, which translates to an 85% year-over-year increase in profit dollars.Besides expanding into insurance and healthcare, Chewy has several other areas it is investing in to reduce costs and improve margins, such as expanding fulfillment capacity and improving transportation efficiency in moving inventory around the country.Chewy is building an e-commerce machine. Pet owners love the convenience of keeping their preferred pet food brands on a recurring shipment, and management is leveraging that customer loyalty with ancillary services that should rapidly grow profits and send the stock higher over time. These qualities make Chewy a no-brainer buy in this market.Revolve: Buy now before this company takes over shoppingJennifer Saibil (Revolve Group): Much ink has been spilled about how to invest properly when the economy is pressured, which is the current situation. There's a common thread running through many of Wall Street's top takes: Solid companies that are fueling future trends are good bets. Online fashion retailer Revolve Group is one such company that is poised to capture market share and survive during tough times.Revolve Group is uniquely positioned to thrive in the digital age due to its artificial-intelligence-powered operating systems that are reaching digitally focused shoppers. Technology underlies everything this company does, and the digital focus combines front and back end systems with influencer marketing and quickly changing styles. That's how it's able to take in a very high percentage of sales at full price -- 87% in 2021 -- while other retailers are putting products on sale to balance out too much inventory with curtailed spending.Sales growth was strong leading up to 2022 after a significant shift to digital shopping due to the pandemic. That has slowed as Revolve comes up against comparisons to last year's robust sales and as the world deals with economic instability. Sales in the second quarter increased 27% over the year-ago period, which was healthy, however, management is expecting that to slow in the third quarter.Net income was positive in the second quarter, but it declined under pressure from surging costs related to shipping and a higher-than-expected product return rate. Going into 2023, if the economy recovers, Revolve's sales and income should begin to pick up again. But it's the long-term outlook that's exciting. Even in this environment, active customer count is growing, as is average order value and orders per customer. Revolve has a loyal, active, and growing fan following that is the foundation of its business. As the company continues to connect with its audience and offer it a better shopping experience, Revolve's future looks bright.Roblox: This metaverse company is selling at a steep discountParkev Tatevosian (Roblox): Roblox is one of my favorite beaten-down growth stocks that looks like a buy now. The metaverse pioneer has seen its stock price fall 73% off its high. It thrived at the pandemic's onset as millions of folks flocked to its platform to help pass the time, but as economies have reopened, customer and revenue growth have slowed.Still, as of its latest update in September, Roblox boasts 59.9 million daily active users and Roblox has done an excellent job extracting revenue from its customers. It does this by selling an in-game currency called Robux that players need for premium items and experiences on the site.Roblox increased its annual revenue from $325 million in 2018 to $1.9 billion in 2021. That is evidence that players find value in paying for the extra privileges. However, there is a part of Roblox's player base that plays for free. To get revenue from those players, Roblox is implementing several advertising programs.Sure, Roblox faces headwinds as consumers have more options for what to do with their time and money, but I think the whopping 73% sell-off in the stock price provides an attractive entry point for investors.","news_type":1,"symbols_score_info":{"CHWY":0.9,"RVLV":0.9,"RBLX":0.9}},"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":997,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":9913159748,"gmtCreate":1663942394384,"gmtModify":1676537367678,"author":{"id":"4108946201265690","authorId":"4108946201265690","name":"My.t","avatar":"https://static.itradeup.com/news/f0f142f324c18e07df30deed64be1cdb","crmLevel":11,"crmLevelSwitch":1,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"4108946201265690","authorIdStr":"4108946201265690"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"đ ","listText":"đ ","text":"đ","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":0,"commentSize":0,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://ttm.financial/post/9913159748","repostId":"2269122425","repostType":2,"repost":{"id":"2269122425","kind":"highlight","pubTimestamp":1663891882,"share":"https://ttm.financial/m/news/2269122425?lang=en_US&edition=fundamental","pubTime":"2022-09-23 08:11","market":"us","language":"en","title":"Stock Market Slump: Should You Really Buy Roku Stock?","url":"https://stock-news.laohu8.com/highlight/detail?id=2269122425","media":"Motley Fool","summary":"Many of Roku's negative qualities have come to light recently, but don't ignore the positives.","content":"
\n
Few stocks have suffered more in the bear market than Roku. After peaking at $490 per share in July 2021, it has lost about 85% of its value. For those who bought this stock near the peak, it may take years to recover such losses. But despite Roku's faults, investors may have good reason to start liking the stock again. Although investors should stay aware of its challenges, they should also consider the secular trends that could bolster the streaming service stock in the long term. Why some investors may not like Roku stockAdmittedly, Roku's business climate and performance appear discouraging. The challenges occurred at a time when supply chain constraints made it harder to bring its streaming players and Roku-equipped smart TVs to market.Additionally, for all of the focus on its streaming platform, it derives most of its revenue from advertising. This bodes poorly as high inflation and a sluggish economy have discouraged spending, leaving businesses with fewer reasons to buy ads.So severe is the ad slowdown that Roku only predicts 3% total net revenue growth in Q3 to $700 million. This is down from 18% in Q2 and 56% in the 2021 calendar year. The slower revenue growth and the bear market helped lead to the massive drop in the stock price. Moreover, that stock price decline has taken its market cap under $10 billion. That places Roku in a weakened position. Peers such as Amazon, Alphabet, Apple, and Samsung also compete in this industry. The liquidity position alone of these companies is several times the value of all Roku stock. If these peers are motivated, they could invest enough to claim Roku's market share or the company itself.Roku's continuing improvementsHowever, investors should also ask why such a small company has gained traction over these much larger peers. First, it helped that CEO Anthony Wood worked for Netflix while building Roku, which enhanced the first-mover advantage Roku built in this market. According to Conviva, Roku continues to benefit as it holds just under 31% of the global market share, well ahead of the second-largest streamer, Amazon, at 16%.Furthermore, the streaming sticks are affordable and work well. Its Roku Express HD streaming player retails for just under $30 and has earned an average of 4.7 out of five stars from more than 166,000 reviews on Amazon. That compares well to $179 for Apple's streaming player.Additionally, despite the launch of the Roku Channel (which is not a paid service), Roku has served primarily as a neutral player among paid streaming services. This reduces the odds of bias toward a specific paid streaming service. Its actions have led to an ecosystem that continues to draw the interest of advertisers and attract ad dollars from traditional TV. For the 2022-2023 season, it made deals with all seven major agency holding companies, leading to over $1 billion in commitments. And contrary to expectations, this audience continues to grow even as consumers emerging from lockdowns spend less time online. Roku reported 63.1 million active accounts in the second quarter of 2022, 14% higher than year-ago levels. The average revenue per user (ARPU) also increased by 21% during that time frame to $44.10.Investors should also remember that this has occurred during a \"slowdown\" in advertising. This means growth could increase as the economy and, by extension, ad spending begins to recover. Finally, despite these improvements, the stock continues to become more affordable. Its price-to-sales (P/S) ratio has fallen to 3, down from 33 in early 2021.Consider Roku stockIndeed, the minuscule revenue growth amid a slowing economy and supply chain constraints bode poorly for Roku. However, upon closer examination, neither the trend away from online activities nor economic woes have stopped Roku's growth. In fact, with almost 31% of the streaming market, Roku has made itself the largest beneficiary of a secular move away from traditional TV. As Roku recovers, these factors make it increasingly likely that this top growth stock is a screaming buy.","news_type":1,"symbols_score_info":{"ROKU":1}},"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":1151,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":9919783199,"gmtCreate":1663861121111,"gmtModify":1676537352028,"author":{"id":"4108946201265690","authorId":"4108946201265690","name":"My.t","avatar":"https://static.itradeup.com/news/f0f142f324c18e07df30deed64be1cdb","crmLevel":11,"crmLevelSwitch":1,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"4108946201265690","authorIdStr":"4108946201265690"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"Why so red today ","listText":"Why so red today ","text":"Why so red today","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":4,"commentSize":0,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://ttm.financial/post/9919783199","repostId":"1185397272","repostType":4,"repost":{"id":"1185397272","kind":"news","weMediaInfo":{"introduction":"Providing stock market headlines, business news, financials and earnings ","home_visible":1,"media_name":"Tiger Newspress","id":"1079075236","head_image":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/8274c5b9d4c2852bfb1c4d6ce16c68ba"},"pubTimestamp":1663860302,"share":"https://ttm.financial/m/news/1185397272?lang=en_US&edition=fundamental","pubTime":"2022-09-22 23:25","market":"us","language":"en","title":"U.S. Stocks Extended Their Losses in Morning Trading; A 1994 agreement underpinning Ukrainian security failed to prevent Russian aggression against its neighbour.Although Moscow and Kyiv both said on Wednesday that they had made progress on the terms of a deal, Ukrainian officials remain sceptical Russian President Vladimir Putin is fully committed to peace and worry that Moscow could be buying time to regroup its forces and resume its offensive.Mykhailo Podolyak, a senior adviser to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, told the Financial Times that any deal would involve âthe troops of the Russian Federation in any case leaving the territory of Ukraineâ captured since the invasion began on February 24 â namely southern regions along the Azov and Black Seas, as well as territory to the east and north of Kyiv.Ukraine would maintain its armed forces but would be obliged to stay outside military alliances such as Nato and refrain from hosting foreign military bases on its territory.Putinâs press secretary Dmitry Peskov told reporters on Wednesday that neutrality for Ukraine based on the status of Austria or Sweden was a possibility.âThis option is really being discussed now, and is one that can be considered neutral,â said Peskov.Sergei Lavrov, Russiaâs foreign minister, said that âabsolutely specific wordingsâ were âclose to being agreedâ in the negotiations.Despite the progress in peace talks, Ukrainian cities came under heavy shelling for a third consecutive night while Kyiv said it was launching a counter-offensive against Russian invaders. In a virtual address to members of Congress on Wednesday, Zelensky pleaded for the US to enforce a no-fly zone or provide fighter jets or other means to fend off Russiaâs attack on his country, and impose harsher economic sanctions on Moscow. In a dramatic appeal, Zelensky said Ukraine needed Americaâs support after Russia had launched a âbrutal offensive against our valuesâ. He called on Americans to remember the attacks on Pearl Harbor and of September 2001 and showed a searing video of the missile attacks and shelling destroying Ukrainian cities.Though Ukraineâs constitution commits it to seeking membership of Nato, Zelensky and his aides have increasingly played down Ukraineâs chances of joining the transatlantic military alliance, a prospect that Russia sees as a provocation.âThere is no effective system of European security now, which would be moderated by Nato. As soon as a serious war began in Europe, Nato quickly stepped aside,â Podolyak said.âWe propose a âUkrainian model of security guarantees,â which implies the immediate and legally verified participation of a number of guarantor countries in the conflict on the side of Ukraine, if someone again encroaches on its territorial integrity,â he added.Ukraine, Podolyak added, would as part of any deal âdefinitely retain its own armyâ. He also played down the significance of a ban on foreign bases in Ukraine, saying that was already precluded by Ukrainian law.Two of the people said the putative deal also included provisions on enshrining rights for the Russian language in Ukraine, where it is widely spoken though Ukrainian is the only official language. Russia has framed its invasion as an attempt to protect Russian speakers in Ukraine from what it claims is âgenocideâ by âneo-Nazisâ.Podolyak said âhumanitarian issues, including language issues, are discussed only through the prism of Ukraineâs exclusive interestsâ.The biggest sticking point remains Russiaâs demand that Ukraine recognise its 2014 annexation of Crimea and the independence of two separatist statelets in the eastern Donbas border region.Ukraine has so far refused but is willing to compartmentalise the issue, Podolyak said.âDisputed and conflict territories [are] in a separate case. So far, we are talking about a guaranteed withdrawal from the territories that have been occupied since the start of the military operation on February 24,â when Russiaâs invasion began, he said.","news_type":1,"symbols_score_info":{".DJI":0.9}},"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":1069,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[{"author":{"id":"3573809317992460","authorId":"3573809317992460","name":"Nobi","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/f6f79f8404d0e36885a520438a78cd94","crmLevel":12,"crmLevelSwitch":1,"authorIdStr":"3573809317992460","idStr":"3573809317992460"},"content":"End of war plus China support for Chinese stocks. Oil slumped, but held above $100 a barrel in New York.Moves in most financial markets were muted on the final day of a quarter that brought the twin threats of hawkish central banks bent on tamping down runaway inflation and the war in Ukraine. The S&P 500 edged lower, taking its loss in the three months to 3.6%, the most since March 2020. The two-year Treasury yield was steady after its 150 basis-point surge that is the most since 1984. Ten-year rates slipped, narrowing the spread to shorter tenors, as investors remain on edge over the threat a restrictive Federal Reserve will cause a recession.Stocks, sovereign bonds and corporate credit all got hammered in the yearâs first months amid concerns about a growth slowdown as central banks move to tackle inflation by withdrawing stimulus. Investors who piled into commodities fared best, riding massive gains in everything from oil to nickel and wheat. Yet the increases have exacerbated price concerns and may lead to a sharper response from central banks.âThe recent rally has masked a lot of pain over the past three months,â wrote Matt Maley, chief market strategist at Miller Tabak + Co.A decline Thursday would mark the S&P 500âs 35th down day this year, the greatest number of first-quarter drawdowns since 1984, according to data compiled by Bloomberg.Oil slid as the U.S. said it will release roughly a million barrels of oil a day from its reserves for six months, reversing an earlier price rebound ahead of an OPEC+ supply meeting. Meanwhile, stocks fell as U.S. inflation-adjusted spending declined last month as prices tempered demand.Brent and West Texas Intermediate prices dropped about 4%, and European natural gas fell as Russia said it would halt gas contracts if buyers donât pay in rubles.âAside from quarter-end considerations, oil is very much the center of attention,â Simon Ballard, chief economist at First Abu Dhabi Bank, wrote in a note to investors. Still, âall the usual suspects are still in play, keeping the market in check, including the specter of the Fed pursuing an aggressive path of monetary policy normalization over the coming months.âMarkets now see a strong chance the Federal Reserve will lift rates by a half point at its May meeting. The U.S. 2-year yield briefly exceeded the 10-year for the first time since 2019 on Tuesday, inverting yet another segment of the Treasury curve and reinforcing the view that Fed rate increases may cause a recession.âThis weekâs brief inversion in the U.S. bond market, combined with elevated volatility on Treasury options, is a warning that the risk of U.S. recession should not be ignored,â wrote Lewis Grant, a senior portfolio manager at Federated Hermes. âU.S. bond markets are showing signs of stress. This is not mirrored in equities, where the VIX remains subdued and U.S. indexes trade above their pre-war levels. The bond market would appear to have a better handle on the potential risks.âSome key events to watch this week:U.S. jobs report, FridaySome of the main moves in markets:StocksThe S&P 500 fell 0.1% as of 11:13 a.m. New York timeThe Nasdaq 100 fell 0.2%The Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 0.3%The Stoxx Europe 600 fell 0.7%The MSCI World index fell 0.4%CurrenciesThe Bloomberg Dollar Spot Index was little changedThe euro fell 0.4% to $1.1116The British pound rose 0.2% to $1.3161The Japanese yen rose 0.3% to 121.42 per dollarBondsThe yield on 10-year Treasuries declined two basis points to 2.33%Germanyâs 10-year yield declined 10 basis points to 0.54%Britainâs 10-year yield declined four basis points to 1.62%CommoditiesWest Texas Intermediate crude fell 4.2% to $103.32 a barrelGold futures rose 0.4% to $1,946.10 an ounce","news_type":1,"symbols_score_info":{".SPX":0.9,"DIA":0.9,".IXIC":0.9}},"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":1035,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":9034462462,"gmtCreate":1647948702362,"gmtModify":1676534283440,"author":{"id":"4108946201265690","authorId":"4108946201265690","name":"My.t","avatar":"https://static.itradeup.com/news/f0f142f324c18e07df30deed64be1cdb","crmLevel":11,"crmLevelSwitch":1,"followedFlag":false,"authorIdStr":"4108946201265690","idStr":"4108946201265690"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"Roku is in my list Will search for Anotehr 2 thanks sharing ","listText":"Roku is in my list Will search for Anotehr 2 thanks sharing ","text":"Roku is in my list Will search for Anotehr 2 thanks sharing","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":3,"commentSize":0,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://ttm.financial/post/9034462462","repostId":"1150453839","repostType":4,"repost":{"id":"1150453839","kind":"news","pubTimestamp":1647962880,"share":"https://ttm.financial/m/news/1150453839?lang=en_US&edition=fundamental","pubTime":"2022-03-22 23:28","market":"us","language":"en","title":"Want $1 Million In Retirement? Because they have a longer investment time horizon, they can afford to take chances on great stocks offering a high potential for long-term returns than older investors who are looking to buy stocks that are safer but invariably offer lower potential returns.Fortunately, many promising tech stocks hold the potential to increase their value by tenfold over time. Investors hoping to turn $100,000 into $1 million over the next 10 years could see such potential returns in Block, DigitalOcean, and Roku.1. BlockBlock has placed itself at the center of fintech in many developed countries. Its business-oriented Square ecosystem and its Cash App continue to grow by expanding into new markets and broadening its scope of business within existing countries.Block just entered its eighth country early this year by bringing its ecosystem into Spain. Now, due to its presence in three EU countries, the company once known as Square has an easier path to serving the rest of the Eurozone. Moreover, it added cryptocurrency capabilities with its Bitcoin trading platform in both Square and Cash App. This likely helped it almost catch up to PayPal Holdings' Venmo in terms of popularity. Also, according to Research and Markets, the addressable market for fintech is expected to reach $31.5 trillion by 2026, a 27% compound annual growth rate (CAGR) that should bring opportunities for lots of companies in this sector, including Square.Block increased its 2021 revenue by 86% compared with 2020, 57% if excluding Bitcoin. This led to adjusted earnings of $898 million in the same period, 111% higher than year-ago levels. Analysts only expect 7% revenue growth in 2022 before it rebounds to 22% the next year.Still, the stock has lost more than half of its value since its peak last summer. With a price-to-sales (P/S) ratio of about 4, it has fallen from the double-digit sales multiples of early last year. This makes it more reasonably priced as Block seeks to meet the financial needs of more businesses and individuals.2. DigitalOceanAt first glance, companies such as Amazon and Microsoft dominate the cloud industry and cater their services to lots of big names. However, their product offerings are not really catered to the specific needs of small- and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). DigitalOcean has built a high-growth enterprise by filling that gap. But while it offers simple, affordable pricing plans tailored to the needs of SMEs, its most vital advantage seems to lie in its community. Members of this community give and receive advice, helping these businesses resolve IT challenges that might otherwise hamper smaller enterprises. Also, DigitalOcean already claims about 600,000 customers in 185 countries. and the cloud market should also leave plenty of room for company growth. Grand View Research estimates the cloud infrastructure market will grow to $1.55 trillion by 2030, up from $484 billion today.DigitalOcean's 2021 revenue of $429 million makes up only a tiny fraction of that addressable market, though that was a 35% increase compared with 2020. Moreover, it cut its yearly loss to about $20 million, down from $44 million in 2020. Furthermore, revenue estimates for between $564 million and $568 million amount to 32% growth if the estimate holds, pointing to little if any slowdowns.Additionally, the stock has dropped 55% from its November high, taking its P/S ratio down to around 13. While this is higher than its larger competitors, a lower stock price and rapid revenue growth rate should take this stock much higher as the need for the cloud within SMEs continues to expand.3. RokuRoku has managed to capitalize on the transition of televised media to streaming. Through its aggregation of services and the offering of its Roku platform and channel, it provides an avenue by which companies can fund programming through advertising.Furthermore, Roku continues its expansion into Europe and Latin America, giving it leverage as companies like Alphabet attempt to compete. Additionally, the company has integrated its operating system into new televisions and offered its equipment at a low cost, easing the adoption of its platform.Roku claimed about 60 million users as of the end of 2021. Also, Research and Markets forecasts that the global digital advertising market will grow to $764 billion by 2025 and to $1.45 trillion by 2030 for a CAGR of 13.7%. Roku appears well-positioned to capture much of this increase as it currently only operates in roughly 20 countries and has plans for further expansion. So far, Roku has barely begun to scratch the surface of its potential. In 2021, it generated almost $2.8 billion in revenue, 55% more than in 2020. The revenue growth helped the company earn $242 million in net income, an improvement from the $18 million loss in 2020.Admittedly, the first-quarter outlook for 25% year-over-year revenue growth represents a slowdown. Still, the stock has fallen by about 75% from its high last July. Also, the P/S ratio now stands at six, down from 33 last February. These factors should more than price in the revenue growth slowdown into the stock, making Roku stock a buy now.","news_type":1,"symbols_score_info":{"ROKU":0.9,"SQ":0.9,"DOCN":0.9}},"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":626,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":9034585292,"gmtCreate":1647919862483,"gmtModify":1676534280279,"author":{"id":"4108946201265690","authorId":"4108946201265690","name":"My.t","avatar":"https://static.itradeup.com/news/f0f142f324c18e07df30deed64be1cdb","crmLevel":11,"crmLevelSwitch":1,"followedFlag":false,"authorIdStr":"4108946201265690","idStr":"4108946201265690"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"Good ","listText":"Good ","text":"Good","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":3,"commentSize":0,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://ttm.financial/post/9034585292","repostId":"1128813590","repostType":4,"repost":{"id":"1128813590","kind":"news","pubTimestamp":1647914029,"share":"https://ttm.financial/m/news/1128813590?lang=en_US&edition=fundamental","pubTime":"2022-03-22 09:53","market":"us","language":"en","title":"TSLA Stock Alert: 8 Things to Know About the Giga Berlin Opening","url":"https://stock-news.laohu8.com/highlight/detail?id=1128813590","media":"InvestorPlace","summary":"TSLA stock is up as the Berlin Gigafactory prepares to open its doors","content":"
\n
It has been a busy year so far for Tesla(NASDAQ:TSLA) and TSLA stock. In 2022, the electric vehicle (EV) innovator is working to conquer Europe. With demand booming across the continent, Tesla has been establishing itself as an EV leader in markets outside China and the United States.March began with some excellent news on that front. Specifically, Tesla announced it had received approval to begin production at its Berlin Gigafactory. TSLA stock rose on the news. Now, itâs up again today as the company prepares for the factoryâs first Model Y delivery event.Tomorrow is the big day for Tesla and the world is watching keenly. This morning brought reports that Elon Musk was heading to Berlin for the grand opening in his private jet. Yesterday, the factory also tweeted it was preparing for the opening and delivery day. That has investors watching TSLA stockâs progress closely as the important day draws near.Letâs take a closer look at what the Berlin Gigafactory opening means for TSLA stock.What to Know About TSLA Stock and the Berlin OpeningLocated in the German state of Brandenburg, the Berlin Gigafactory is Teslaâs first Europe-based manufacturing facility. The company describes it as its âmost advanced, sustainable and efficient facility yet.âThe company initially planned the Berlin factory opening for the summer of 2021. This was delayed by environmental challenges that barred it from receiving a commercial operation permit.Early reports indicated that the factoryâs official opening would take place on March 22. Although some critics expressed skepticism, the company has kept this promise.The event is expected to play host to some 500 guests, âincluding German chancellor Olaf Scholz.âThe opening will allow Tesla to begin producing and delivering cars on European soil. Until now, most European deliveries were manufactured in Shanghai. The new factory makes for an export strategy with better long-term prospects.Notably, the Berlin Gigafactory is host to âGiga Pressâ machines, giant casting machines designed to reduce vehicle assembly costs and streamline production.In addition to the EV production facility, the Berlin Gigafactory also includes an adjacent battery production plant.Some report the gigafactory opening will mark âlargest industrial development in Eastern Germany since reunification.â Sources indicate it will bring as many as 12,000 new jobs to the area.","news_type":1,"symbols_score_info":{"TSLA":0.9}},"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":532,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0}],"lives":[]}
