close ","content":"

After a really topsy turvy week the ASX 200 ended on a strong note, up 1.1% or 78.1 points to close at 7435 points.

While that was still not enough to come out up for the week, it was a far cry from earlier in the week when the market had fallen 4.5% in three days, with a two day spurt adding 1.4% to make things look more respectable.

There were lots of confusing signals around markets with a sharp rise on the Chinese share market after the Politburo promised to increase stimulus to support economic growth helping all sectors on the Australian market to increase.

The picture out of the US was more mixed with a strong daily rise being followed by an after-market dive and then recovery on the bullish Chinese market.

Australia seen as a relative safe haven

Globally, the Australian market is starting to be seen as something of a safe haven with low exposure to technology and a high exposure to mineral and agricultural commodities, which are booming in price.

Foreign investors are definitely very active in Australia, which is also experiencing excellent terms of trade, high domestic savings and a tight labour market, all of which are seen to support equity valuations and put Australia in a better relative position than other share markets.

Kogan crunched by lower sales and evaporating profits

In individual share moves, online retailer Kogan shares sank to a 3-year low below $4 after reporting a poor start to the year with sales falling and the business swinging to a loss as consumer demand softens.

Heading in the opposite direction was PointsBet shares forged big gains, up as much as 15% as the online bookmaker revealed strong quarterly turnover growth, driven by its expanding US operations.

Origin Energy shares rose almost 2% after reporting that it more than doubled revenue from liquefied-gas exports in the past three months, courtesy of booming commodity prices.

The semiconductor chip shortage is still claiming victims with Resmed shares down by more than 4% after the shortage will cap potential gains it can make from a recall at major competitor Philips.

Small cap stock action

The Small Ords index fell 1.41% for the week to close on 3298.7 points.

Small cap companies making headlines this week were:

TZL Limited

The March quarter has heralded a “significant improvement” in revenue for TZL Limited, with net cash from operating activities reaching $400,000, compared to a $400,000-loss in the previous corresponding period.

Group revenue for the period was $5.05 million – bringing TZL’s year-to-date revenue to $13.2 million.

Underpinning the result was a monthly recurring revenue base of $235,000.

The company says its journey of bringing customers to a comprehensive set of TZ cloud subscription services was “well underway” with the company seeing “great uptake” of its cloud solution.

TZL expects the growth momentum to continue throughout 2022.

Argenica Therapeutics

Recent in-life rodent and non-human primate toxicology studies have determined the maximum tolerated dose of Argenica Therapeutics’ novel therapeutic ARG-007.

The results bring Argenica a step closer to its phase 1 clinical trial of the neuroprotective peptide drug, which is being developed to reduce brain tissue death after stroke.

Argenica chief executive officer Dr Liz Dallimore says the latest study results gives the company added confidence in securing ethics approval to proceed with clinical trials.

“The results of the GLP toxicology data demonstrate that ARG-007 has a good safety margin from the efficacious dose to the maximum tolerated dose,” Dr Dallimore added.

RooLife Group

The launch of RooLife’s TikTok store in China in co-operation with investment and sales channel Cross Border Trading Group (CCTG) is expected to bring in at least $300,000 in sales during its first three months of operation.

RooLife expects further growth as the store and customer base matures. The store will sell cross-border imported products, while leveraging short video content, advertisements and live-streaming campaigns to promote brands such as Dior, Lancôme, Givenchy, Kiehl’s, Estee Lauder, YSL, Clinique and SK-II.

These brands will be sold alongside RooLife’s own cosmetics partner brands to an online audience in China of more than 600 million.

The TikTok store launch was followed by RooLife revealing revenue of $4.7 million for the March quarter – up 39% on the previous corresponding period and 22% higher than the December 2021 quarter.

At the end of the March quarter, RooLife’s year-to-date revenue was $12.8 million, which was 133% higher than the full year revenue in 2021 (12 months ending June 2021) of $9.6 million.

NickelX

Geophysical surveys have identified “significant” magnetic anomalies for NickelX across its recently acquired Cosmos South nickel project in WA.

A recent close-spaced drone survey has confirmed “very strong” conductors delineated by moving loop electromagnetic and fixed loop electromagnetic surveys at the project.

The project is within 20km of two known major nickel operations in the state and NickelX managing director Matt Gauci says it ranks “highly” on the company’s target list.

NickelX will undertake four drill holes to test the priority targets once it has secured access, permits and engaged a contractor.

Vonex (ASX: VN8)

Telecommunications service provider Vonex achieved record revenue during the March quarter.

The company saw its quarterly revenue rise to $10.2 million, up 96% year on year.

Annualised recurring revenue rose 102% year on year, up an estimated $35 million as at 31 March 2022.

Vonex is focused on a three-pronged growth strategy combining expansion in retail, in 2SG wholesale and via targeted acquisitions

The week ahead

The coming week is a really big one for markets in general, with the Reserve Bank Board decision on official interest rates on Tuesday the obvious highlight.

While there is still some reluctance by some banks to call for a rate rise during the election campaign, I think the case is crystal clear for a rise – probably up 0.4% to 0.5% – on the back of strongly rising inflation.

Waiting for a likely mythical rise in wages is not much of an excuse for not acting and the election campaign is even less of an excuse for indicating a tightening bias but waiting for another month to implement it.

This sort of rise could hardly be seen as stomping on the brakes, given the extraordinarily low “emergency” rate at the moment – more like deciding to back off from having the monetary accelerator flat to the floor, which has surely got to be indicated by a 13 year high jump in inflation.

US Fed tipped to raise rates strongly

On Wednesday the US Federal Reserve hands down its interest rate decision with the likely result a 0.5% rise to a 0.75% to 1% range, which will probably also be accompanied by a shrinking of the Fed’s bloated balance sheet and indications of more rises to come.

Jobs data on Friday in the US will also be closely examined, with the likely result being unemployment hovering around the 3.6% mark.

There are other things to watch out for in the US – particularly company profit results – but the central bank will be hogging the limelight.

Banks in the spotlight as their margins tell a story

Back here in Australia there are a string of economic releases but I think the most interest will be focussed on the banking sector.

ANZ (ASX: ANZ), NAB (ASX: NAB) and Macquarie (ASX: MQG) are releasing their results on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday respectively with the Westpac (ASX: WBC) result out on the following Monday and Commonwealth (ASX: CBA) out on the following Wednesday.

With most of the banks set to trade ex-dividend in the period after their results, it is a time of intense comparisons and post dividend switching with the main scrutiny being on net interest margins as a measure of relative performance.

Net interest margins are expected to rise strongly this year as the RBA continues to hike interest rates but higher interest rates also suppress lending, with the obvious caveat that around $250 billion of fixed interest loans maturing this year and need to be refinanced.

Investors will be looking to remain with the banks that are getting the best margins and they will also be keeping an eye on rising costs as a tight job market begins to flow through in the form of higher wages.

","source":"lsy1647655037355","collect":0,"html":"\n
\n
\n\n<meta says it ranks “highly” on the company’s target list.NickelX will undertake four drill holes to test the priority targets once it has secured access, permits and engaged a contractor.Vonex (ASX: VN8)Telecommunications service provider Vonex achieved record revenue during the March quarter. The company saw its quarterly revenue rise to $10.2 million, up 96% year on year.Annualised recurring revenue rose 102% year on year, up an estimated $35 million as at 31 March 2022.Vonex is focused on a three-pronged growth strategy combining expansion in retail, in 2SG wholesale and via targeted acquisitionsThe week aheadThe coming week is a really big one for markets in general, with the Reserve Bank Board decision on official interest rates on Tuesday the obvious highlight. While there is still some reluctance by some banks to call for a rate rise during the election campaign, I think the case is crystal clear for a rise – probably up 0.4% to 0.5% – on the back of strongly rising inflation.Waiting for a likely mythical rise in wages is not much of an excuse for not acting and the election campaign is even less of an excuse for indicating a tightening bias but waiting for another month to implement it.This sort of rise could hardly be seen as stomping on the brakes, given the extraordinarily low “emergency” rate at the moment – more like deciding to back off from having the monetary accelerator flat to the floor, which has surely got to be indicated by a 13 year high jump in inflation.US Fed tipped to raise rates stronglyOn Wednesday the US Federal Reserve hands down its interest rate decision with the likely result a 0.5% rise to a 0.75% to 1% range, which will probably also be accompanied by a shrinking of the Fed’s bloated balance sheet and indications of more rises to come.Jobs data on Friday in the US will also be closely examined, with the likely result being unemployment hovering around the 3.6% mark. There are other things to watch out for in the US – particularly company profit results – but the central bank will be hogging the limelight.Banks in the spotlight as their margins tell a storyBack here in Australia there are a string of economic releases but I think the most interest will be focussed on the banking sector.ANZ (ASX: ANZ), NAB (ASX: NAB) and Macquarie (ASX: MQG) are releasing their results on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday respectively with the Westpac (ASX: WBC) result out on the following Monday and Commonwealth (ASX: CBA) out on the following Wednesday. With most of the banks set to trade ex-dividend in the period after their results, it is a time of intense comparisons and post dividend switching with the main scrutiny being on net interest margins as a measure of relative performance.Net interest margins are expected to rise strongly this year as the RBA continues to hike interest rates but higher interest rates also suppress lending, with the obvious caveat that around $250 billion of fixed interest loans maturing this year and need to be refinanced.Investors will be looking to remain with the banks that are getting the best margins and they will also be keeping an eye on rising costs as a tight job market begins to flow through in the form of higher wages.","news_type":1,"symbols_score_info":{"RMD.AU":0.9,"TZL.AU":0.9,"XKO.AU":0.9,"NKL.AU":0.9,"XJO.AU":0.9,"AGN.AU":0.9,"PBH.AU":0.9,"RLG.AU":0.9,"ORG.AU":0.9,"XAO.AU":0.9,"KGN.AU":0.9}},"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":3951,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":9086341621,"gmtCreate":1650417501287,"gmtModify":1676534719411,"author":{"id":"4101515922371630","authorId":"4101515922371630","name":"ycheong","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/e72f54521a5b0b85fdb76102b268baa3","crmLevel":11,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"authorIdStr":"4101515922371630","idStr":"4101515922371630"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"like","listText":"like","text":"like","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":5,"commentSize":0,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://ttm.financial/post/9086341621","repostId":"1184676929","repostType":4,"repost":{"id":"1184676929","kind":"news","pubTimestamp":1650413180,"share":"https://ttm.financial/m/news/1184676929?lang=en_US&edition=fundamental","pubTime":"2022-04-20 However, many companies in the category still trade down dramatically from their highs, and there's still time to snatch up some promising technology players at huge discounts. With that in mind, a panel of Motley Fool contributors has identified top growth stocks that trade down at least 35% from recent highs. Read on to see why they think it's worth buying these stocks right now and holding for the long term.Pin this value and growth stock to your portfolioJason Hall: Pinterest ( PINS 0.81% ) investors probably feel like they've been on a roller coaster over the past few years. Off to a bumpy start, up a couple of giant hills, and then back where they started:PINS data by YChartsThat's right: Pinterest shares are within just a few percentage points of where they were when the company went public in 2019. The S&P 500 and Nasdaq-100 indexes have gained 63% and 98% respectively, over the same period, further seeding disappointment in Pinterest as a public company. But the real injury has been suffered by investors in between its initial public offering (IPO) and today; shares are down as much as 72% from the highs; most investors in the company have lost value.Shares haven't fallen for no reason: Active users have declined as people have returned to in-person activities after the lockdowns at the height of the coronavirus pandemic. But I expect its growth is far from over, with a user base that's a fraction of other social media platforms. Most importantly, Pinterest continues to grow a really important metric: ARPU, or average revenue per user. As other social media platforms deal with monetization challenges, Pinterest continues to grow the premium advertisers are willing to pay, with ARPU climbing 23% in the fourth quarter, driving Pinterest's 20% revenue growth.Image source: Pinterest. It's also a cash cow, generating almost $744 million free cash, at 28% cash margin in 2021. At recent prices, you can own that cash-generating business for a value-stock multiple of 22 times free cash flow. That's value-stock pricing for a strong, growing company. The Trade Desk is in the right business at the right timeParkev Tatevosian: The Trade Desk ( TTD 4.45% ) is a buy-side platform that enables digital ad purchases. In other words, it helps businesses looking to reach customers through digital channels like connected TVs, smartphones, and tablets. That's becoming increasingly important as consumers spend more and more time connected to the internet. The Trade Desk is riding that wave of momentum and has grown sales tenfold from 2015 to 2021. The trend is unlikely to reverse. First, consumers appreciate the benefits of a world where access to the internet is abundant. Streaming video content, music, and podcasts are popular. If anything, people want more material they can consume this way. Also, digital advertising is more efficient. Marketers can more accurately measure the results their spending is delivering. How many clicks did your ad generate? How many purchases? These can both be measured with some precision through digital channels. That's in stark contrast to non-digital media like newspapers, billboards, or cable TV. How many purchases did your TV commercial generate? You can get estimates, but with a wide margin of error. It's no surprise The Trade Desk grew revenue more than tenfold from $114 million in 2015 to $1.2 billion in 2021. Fortunately for investors, The Trade Desk is still a tiny player in the massive advertising industry that generated $763 billion in revenue in 2021. Purchasers of the stock today can ride along higher with The Trade Desk as it grabs a more significant share. To make The Trade Desk's stock more enticing right now, it's down 38% off its high, an opportunity that may not be around for long. This gaming stock could bounce back in a big wayKeith Noonan: CD Projekt ( OTGL.Y 1.82% ) is a mid-cap player in the gaming industry based out of Warsaw, Poland. The company is best known for The Witcher series and Cyberpunk 2077, and some might even say the developer is infamous for the latter title.Cyberpunk 2077 likely stands as one of the most hyped-up games of all time, but unfortunately the title was released with bugs and other shortcomings that resulted in it failing to meet critical and commercial expectations. The underperformance has caused the company's stock to fall roughly 67% from its high.At this point, it's fair to say that Cyberpunk 2077 has been a disappointment, but the good news is that the title might not go down that way over the long term. Thanks to downloadable content updates, video games have longer lifecycles than ever before, and it's possible for titles to bounce back from setbacks so long as subsequent updates deliver the goods.Consider that Epic Games' hugely successful Fortnite was actually something of a flop upon release. Like Cyberpunk 2077, Fortnite had an incredibly lengthy development cycle and underperformed upon its initial release, but it wound up recovering and going on to be a massive success after new modes were added and the game's focus was shifted.CD Projekt has the chance to turn Cyberpunk 2077 into a winner over the long term, and The Witcher is a franchise that still looks to have plenty of life in it. In addition to these core properties, the company is working on new games, and it also operates a platform for digital-game sales and sharing. With shares down big and feasible avenues to recovery, the Polish gaming company's stock could bounce back and reward patient investors.","news_type":1,"symbols_score_info":{"OTGLF":0.9,"PINS":0.9,"TTD":0.9}},"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":1461,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":9018929703,"gmtCreate":1648958961330,"gmtModify":1676534428841,"author":{"id":"4101515922371630","authorId":"4101515922371630","name":"ycheong","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/e72f54521a5b0b85fdb76102b268baa3","crmLevel":11,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"authorIdStr":"4101515922371630","idStr":"4101515922371630"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"pls like","listText":"pls like","text":"pls like","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":4,"commentSize":0,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://ttm.financial/post/9018929703","repostId":"2224347218","repostType":4,"repost":{"id":"2224347218","kind":"highlight","pubTimestamp":1648878635,"share":"https://ttm.financial/m/news/2224347218?lang=en_US&edition=fundamental","pubTime":"2022-04-02 13:50","market":"us","language":"en","title":"Why AMC Shares Are Down Today","url":"https://stock-news.laohu8.com/highlight/detail?id=2224347218","media":"Motley Fool","summary":"Its recent gold mine investment isn't going to be a game changer.","content":"
\n
Its recent gold mine investment isn't going to be a game-changer.What happenedInvestors initially cheered some news this morning from the gold miner AMC Entertainment Holdings invested in earlier this...
\n\nSource Link\n\n
\n","source":"fool_stock","collect":0,"html":"\n
\n
\n<meta http-equiv=\"Content-Type\" content=\"text/html; But it's been all downhill for AMC's stock the rest of the day so far. As of 12:48 p.m. ET Friday, AMC shares were down 7%.So whatBesides the small bump after Hycroft Mining, which AMC recently invested in, provided investors its full-year 2021 update, AMC stock may also have been riding a wave of enthusiasm from retail investors who were cheering news of a planned stock split for fellow meme stock GameStop. But, of course, that has nothing to do with AMC or its prospects, and investors also probably realized that the enthusiasm from the Hycroft Mining investment was overdone. Now whatTwo weeks ago, AMC announced it was investing $27.9 million in cash for a 22% stake in Hycroft Mining, which owns the more than 70,000-acre Hycroft Mine in northern Nevada. It was part of CEO Adam Aron's plan to use money AMC has raised to diversify and make acquisitions to aid its recovery from pandemic impacts.Hycroft needed the capital infusion to continue to operate its gold and silver mine. Hycroft is a micro-cap company, and its shares have soared more than 50% since AMC's investment. Retail investors have pushed AMC stock up nearly 60% since that time.Hycroft said today that its gold production for the full year 2021 was above its previous estimates while silver production fell short of guidance. The company also raised additional capital from the equity markets on top of the AMC investment.News that the company will remain solvent and has additional funds at its disposal is good for its investors. But AMC's fortunes will not be determined by its relatively small investment in Hycroft. That dose of reality is likely why AMC shares subsequently dropped as the day's trading progressed.","news_type":1,"symbols_score_info":{"AMC":1,"HYMC":0.9}},"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":1028,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":9011500292,"gmtCreate":1648875215858,"gmtModify":1676534416702,"author":{"id":"4101515922371630","authorId":"4101515922371630","name":"ycheong","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/e72f54521a5b0b85fdb76102b268baa3","crmLevel":11,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"authorIdStr":"4101515922371630","idStr":"4101515922371630"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"<a to hit a","content":"

The Australian share market took a breather on the first day of April but remains on course to hit a record high this year after a particularly strong March.

The 0.1% or 6 point fall to 7494 points on Friday still left the market up an amazing 6.4% for March as it recovered quickly from the Russian invasion of the Ukraine and rose strongly on the back of higher energy and materials companies.

BHP (ASX: BHP) is a great example, powering up 1.2% to $52.39 on Friday, putting it well on the way to reclaiming its record high levels from last year.

Commodity prices rising strongly

There has been a generalised rise in commodity prices which saw the energy and materials sector add around 10% for the month.

Companies that mine critical minerals were also much stronger after US President Biden announced it would be investing to boost production of rare earth minerals.

That was a big help for stocks such as Lynas (ASX: LYC), which rose 3.07% to $11.09 on the back of an existing relationship with the US Department of Defence.

The announcement also buoyed lithium producers like AVZ Minerals (ASX: AVZ) which hit a record high of $1.31 on Friday before closing up 5.26% at $1.30 – a far cry from the 15c levels it was at less than a year ago.

Lithium giant Allkem (ASX: AKE) added a lazy 8.5% for the day to close at $12.40 after hitting a record high of $12.47 during the day.

Star troubles will force board changes

It wasn’t all great news with the Star Entertainment Group (ASX: SGR) shares down 0.31% to $3.24 as the troubled casino company announced chairman John O’Neill would take over the chief executive officer duties while the casino operator finds a replacement for departed chief executive Matt Bekier.

Star has also announced that it needs “accelerated board change” after a forest of allegations of dodgy behaviour at a probity inquiry that led Mr Bekier to resign.

Shares in online property marketplace Domain Holdings (ASX: DHG) are in a trading halt ahead of a $180 million capital raising following the acquisition of Realbase, a real estate technology platform, for $180 million and a contingent consideration.

Domain said the buy will more than double its Agent Solutions’ revenue for the 2022 financial year and increases its market coverage from 35% to about 50% of all Australian property transactions.

Corporate Travel Management (ASX: CTD) also finalised the acquisition of Helloworld Travel’s (ASX: HLO) corporate and entertainment travel businesses in Australia & New Zealand which will see the company be the travel management provider for more than a quarter of ASX 200 companies.

Small cap stock action

The Small Ords index gained 0.5% this week to close on 3346.9 points.

ASX 200 vs Small Ords

Small cap companies making headlines this week were:

Recharge Metals (ASX: REC)

At its Brandy Hill South project, Recharge Metals has unearthed sulphide mineralisation, including visible copper during diamond drilling.

The sulphides, brecciated zones and visible copper were observed from 92m to end of hole, which reached 393m.

Following a maiden reverse circulation drilling program, Recharge selected three holes to extend with diamond tails to gather valuable structural and lithological information. This drill core will be sent for analysis with results to be reported once received.

Assays from the first four holes of the maiden RC program returned 12m at 1.2% copper from 74m, including 4m at 2.87% copper from 74m; and 1m at 5.92% copper from 147m.

Culpeo Minerals (ASX: CPO)

Another small cap to impress investors this week with visible copper in a drill intercept was Culpeo Minerals, which uncovered copper sulphides in the first hole of its maiden drilling program at Lana Corina in Chile.

Visible copper was noted from 50m to 250m.

Drilling at Lana Corina aimed to confirm the presence of copper in near-surface breccia pipes and verify historical results.

In the maiden program at Lana Corina, Culpeo will drill eight holes totalling 4,000m.

InhaleRx (ASX: IRX)

The Victorian Government’s Department of Health and Human Services has awarded InhaleRx its licence to store and sell controlled substances, including medicinal cannabis.

InhaleRx executive director Darryl Davies said securing the licence was an “important milestone” for the company – enabling it to store and distribute scheduled medications.

He said it opens the door for InhaleRx to create new products and build additional revenue streams.

Respiri (ASX: RSH)

In a bid to accelerate its expansion into the North American market, Respiri has secured New York-based EAS Advisors LLC to guide its efforts.

EAS principal and founder Edward Sugar said he was looking forward to working with Respiri as it rolls-out its wheezo asthma monitoring device and technology in the US.

“We have seen the impressive work EAS has done with other ASX-listed companies in bringing them to a wider US audience and we are delighted to be working with the firm as we continue our growth in that market,” Respiri chief executive officer and managing director Marjan Mikel said.

Respiri launched its wheezo device in the US in December last year under a remote patient monitoring program, and it has received a positive initial response.

ioneer (ASX: INR)

US-based NexTech Batteries has agreed to purchase lithium carbonate and/or lithium hydroxide from ioneer’s Rhyolite Ridge lithium-boron project in Nevada.

NextTech plans to use the lithium chemicals from Rhyolite Ridge to manufacture next generation solid-state batteries, which are expected to “revolutionise the automotive industry”, as well as renewables, portable electronics, and drone applications.

“NexTech is pleased to work with a supplier that is aligned with our mission of making batteries more affordable, more sustainable and safer through patented lithium-sulphur science that’s poised to disrupt multiple industries,” NexTech chief executive officer Bill Burger said.

ioneer intends to produce upwards of 22,000t of lithium chemicals a year for US’ domestic battery supply chain.

Vintage Energy (ASX: VEN)

Spudding of the Cervantes-1 oil exploration well has occurred for Vintage Energy and joint venture partners Metgasco and RCMA Australia.

The well is expected to take about 16 days to reach its desired depth of 2,370m.

Vintage is paying 50% of the well’s costs to earn a 30% stake in the well, and wider Cervantes prospect, which are located in the onshore Perth Basin in Western Australia.

Over in Queensland’s Cooper Basin, Vintage and its partners have acquired their respective shares from Beach Energy’s 15% interest in PRL 211, which contains the Odin and Vali gas fields.

Vintage officially owns 50% of PRL 211 and is operator. The company’s share of the 2C contingent resource now totals 17.5 billion cubic feet of gas.

Tempest Minerals (ASX: TEM)

Another small cap with a copper discovery this week was Tempest Minerals, which unearthed visible copper during maiden drilling at the Orion target within its Meleya project in WA’s Yalgoo region.

The first hole of a deep two-hole drilling program hit multiple zones of sulphide minerals, with copper minerals such as chalcopyrite observed throughout the core and supported by portable XRF readings.

Tempest managing director Don Smith said the presence of visible copper and sulphide minerals was a “spectacular outcome”.

“To make a new discovery on our very first hole in an entirely untested region has far exceeded our expectations,” he said.

The week ahead

The biggest event to watch out for by far in the coming week is the Reserve Bank board meeting which will help to solidify the course of official interest rates for the rest of the year.

While rates are not expected to move from the current 0.1% level, there may be some movement on the forward guidance to fight growing inflationary pressures.

At the moment, the market is tipping a lot more rises for this year than the RBA itself so the meeting might bring the two parties closer together.

Other local releases to look out for include retail trade, job advertisements, inflation, consumer confidence, new car sales, international trade and the Reserve Bank financial stability review.

","source":"lsy1647655037355","collect":0,"html":"\n
\n
\n<meta http-equiv=\"Content-Type\" content=\"text/html; This drill core will be sent for analysis with results to be reported once received.Assays from the first four holes of the maiden RC program returned 12m at 1.2% copper from 74m, including 4m at 2.87% copper from 74m; and 1m at 5.92% copper from 147m.Culpeo Minerals (ASX: CPO)Another small cap to impress investors this week with visible copper in a drill intercept was Culpeo Minerals, which uncovered copper sulphides in the first hole of its maiden drilling program at Lana Corina in Chile.Visible copper was noted from 50m to 250m.Drilling at Lana Corina aimed to confirm the presence of copper in near-surface breccia pipes and verify historical results. In the maiden program at Lana Corina, Culpeo will drill eight holes totalling 4,000m.InhaleRx (ASX: IRX)The Victorian Government’s Department of Health and Human Services has awarded InhaleRx its licence to store and sell controlled substances, including medicinal cannabis.InhaleRx executive director Darryl Davies said securing the licence was an “important milestone” for the company – enabling it to store and distribute scheduled medications. He said it opens the door for InhaleRx to create new products and build additional revenue streams.Respiri (ASX: RSH)In a bid to accelerate its expansion into the North American market, Respiri has secured New York-based EAS Advisors LLC to guide its efforts.EAS principal and founder Edward Sugar said he was looking forward to working with Respiri as it rolls-out its wheezo asthma monitoring device and technology in the US.“We have seen the impressive work EAS has done with other ASX-listed companies in bringing them to a wider US audience and we are delighted to be working with the firm as we continue our growth in that market,” Respiri chief executive officer and managing director Marjan Mikel said.Respiri launched its wheezo device in the US in December last year under a remote patient monitoring program, and it has received a positive initial response.ioneer (ASX: INR)US-based NexTech Batteries has agreed to purchase lithium carbonate and/or lithium hydroxide from ioneer’s Rhyolite Ridge lithium-boron project in Nevada.NextTech plans to use the lithium chemicals from Rhyolite Ridge to manufacture next generation solid-state batteries, which are expected to “revolutionise the automotive industry”, as well as renewables, portable electronics, and drone applications.“NexTech is pleased to work with a supplier that is aligned with our mission of making batteries more affordable, more sustainable and safer through patented lithium-sulphur science that’s poised to disrupt multiple industries,” NexTech chief executive officer Bill Burger said.ioneer intends to produce upwards of 22,000t of lithium chemicals a year for US’ domestic battery supply chain.Vintage Energy (ASX: VEN)Spudding of the Cervantes-1 oil exploration well has occurred for Vintage Energy and joint venture partners Metgasco and RCMA Australia. The well is expected to take about 16 days to reach its desired depth of 2,370m.Vintage is paying 50% of the well’s costs to earn a 30% stake in the well, and wider Cervantes prospect, which are located in the onshore Perth Basin in Western Australia.Over in Queensland’s Cooper Basin, Vintage and its partners have acquired their respective shares from Beach Energy’s 15% interest in PRL 211, which contains the Odin and Vali gas fields.Vintage officially owns 50% of PRL 211 and is operator. The company’s share of the 2C contingent resource now totals 17.5 billion cubic feet of gas.Tempest Minerals (ASX: TEM)Another small cap with a copper discovery this week was Tempest Minerals, which unearthed visible copper during maiden drilling at the Orion target within its Meleya project in WA’s Yalgoo region. The first hole of a deep two-hole drilling program hit multiple zones of sulphide minerals, with copper minerals such as chalcopyrite observed throughout the core and supported by portable XRF readings.Tempest managing director Don Smith said the presence of visible copper and sulphide minerals was a “spectacular outcome”.“To make a new discovery on our very first hole in an entirely untested region has far exceeded our expectations,” he said. The week aheadThe biggest event to watch out for by far in the coming week is the Reserve Bank board meeting which will help to solidify the course of official interest rates for the rest of the year. While rates are not expected to move from the current 0.1% level, there may be some movement on the forward guidance to fight growing inflationary pressures. At the moment, the market is tipping a lot more rises for this year than the RBA itself so the meeting might bring the two parties closer together.Other local releases to look out for include retail trade, job advertisements, inflation, consumer confidence, new car sales, international trade and the Reserve Bank financial stability review.","news_type":1,"symbols_score_info":{"XKO.AU":0.9,"XAO.AU":0.9,"XJO.AU":0.9}},"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":1195,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":9013785737,"gmtCreate":1648776209134,"gmtModify":1676534396127,"author":{"id":"4101515922371630","authorId":"4101515922371630","name":"ycheong","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/e72f54521a5b0b85fdb76102b268baa3","crmLevel":11,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"authorIdStr":"4101515922371630","idStr":"4101515922371630"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"like","listText":"like","text":"like","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":5,"commentSize":0,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://ttm.financial/post/9013785737","repostId":"1186727259","repostType":4,"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":1340,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":9013312439,"gmtCreate":1648684721638,"gmtModify":1676534377456,"author":{"id":"4101515922371630","authorId":"4101515922371630","name":"ycheong","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/e72f54521a5b0b85fdb76102b268baa3","crmLevel":11,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"authorIdStr":"4101515922371630","idStr":"4101515922371630"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"like","listText":"like","text":"like","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":4,"commentSize":0,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://ttm.financial/post/9013312439","repostId":"1131363468","repostType":4,"repost":{"id":"1131363468","kind":"news","pubTimestamp":1648682290,"share":"https://ttm.financial/m/news/1131363468?lang=en_US&edition=fundamental","pubTime":"2022-03-31 However, many companies in the category still trade down dramatically from their highs, and there's still time to snatch up some promising technology players at huge discounts. With shares down big and feasible avenues to recovery, the Polish gaming company's stock could bounce back and reward patient investors.","news_type":1,"symbols_score_info":{"OTGLF":0.9,"PINS":0.9,"TTD":0.9}},"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":1461,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":9086341621,"gmtCreate":1650417501287,"gmtModify":1676534719411,"author":{"id":"4101515922371630","authorId":"4101515922371630","name":"ycheong","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/e72f54521a5b0b85fdb76102b268baa3","crmLevel":11,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"authorIdStr":"4101515922371630","idStr":"4101515922371630"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"like","listText":"like","text":"like","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":5,"commentSize":0,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://ttm.financial/post/9086341621","repostId":"1184676929","repostType":4,"repost":{"id":"1184676929","kind":"news","pubTimestamp":1650413180,"share":"https://ttm.financial/m/news/1184676929?lang=en_US&edition=fundamental","pubTime":"2022-04-20 08:06","market":"sg","language":"en","title":"Singapore Stock Market May Extend Tuesday's Gains","url":"https://stock-news.laohu8.com/highlight/detail?id=1184676929","media":"RTTNews","summary":"The Singapore stock market on Tuesday ended the two-day losing streak in which it had stumbled almos","content":"

The Singapore stock market on Tuesday ended the two-day losing streak in which it had stumbled almost 45 points or 1.3 percent. exposure to mineral and agricultural commodities, which are booming in price.

\n
\n\n<meta
