I ❤️ Singapore 

Singapore maybe the most expensive city to live in, because of land scarce city, strong currency and liquors/cigarettes are expensive😅 and many more expensive things :

⚠️ property is expensive, so home and office rental cost is expensive, if buy mainly leasehold, foreigners can not buy freehold. Foreigner need to pay additional stamp duty.

⚠️ car is expensive, must bid COE which valid only for 10 years then u need to bid again.

⚠️ education is expensive for non citizens, without government subsidies, or company paid for the expat family, it will be very expensive unless have own business.

⚠️ as medical hub, medical fee is very expensive, unless companies have group insurance for panel clinics n private hospitals. 

For expats usually companies pay their needs to relocate here (even not 100% usually they negotiate first) 

while for citizens  government offered subsidy to buy first apartment. Gives Top up, subsidies n bursary for schooling children. Subsidies for seeing dr at polyclinics or public hospitals. Once my son see a doctor at clinic the cost $90+ because of given antibiotics, ifpolyclinic maybe $20 but the Q is long 😂

everyone have to save for their own retirement (CPF), have to pay own intergrated health insurance plan, mainly we are eating out instead of cooking, unless big family or with young children, but government build nice infrastructure and public transport, safety is top too, as you will feel safe to walk at night.

All i can say no free lunch in this world, but ifeel worth it to stay here. We can go other countries as tourist but i will miss Singapore again 🇸🇬😍

      小孩子小时候会这样想。问题是不知道哪个更好一个去吧。sg社会太保护了，大国很不一样。看看他们是否能适应。

      是真的，税收看起来不高，但结合也许不错的收入，否则如何建立那些新的捷运😂生活成本确实很高，但怎么办？到处都差不多。如果我退休了，也许我会在hdb出租房间来补充收入，但我总是告诉我的年轻人先买房。现在付这么高的房租

    talk abt medical. its a ponsi. Price were markup high than say give you discount [Facepalm] and worst of all , they give out cheap medicines esp to those pioneer and merdeka card holders.  Cheap medical fee , pay by medisafe ? It is still Your money. [Speechless]

      I see, no wonder, btw if foreigner i dont advice to come here unless their money no series (very rich) hahaha some of them use insurance too, smart 👍 one i know a local go india for dental implant or bridge, but take the risk lor anything after surgery can happen, just heart pain to spend here so expensive, again no risk no gain, i wud rather do it here though 😅

      medical service here is better than neighbours.  so many rich will come for various treatments. But compared to Thailand or Taiwan , we are very expensive. Cemo is very personal. so hard to judge. Bec it can either help or make u go faster.

      I ever itchy after 3rd jab covid given specialist 3 mth later, i asked the doctor if it is cancer by the time 3 mth spread liao, doctor said if suspected cancer waiting time should be faster 😁 so i just accept lar, unless want to pay private, doctors said my skin problem not because of covid jab.

      Many rich foreigners come here to get medical, so far whom i know really got recover, while some of my family in SG got medical problem, after few round cemo can not make it… haiz maybe time to go.

      Oh what i know long wait at poly n gov hospitals, thats why when young must buy private insurance lor, however the cost is high, so must keep healhty lor, n down grade when insurance cost too high, insurance just pooling all money to pay other bills indirectly, when the claim higher next year they increase premium [Facepalm] but i guess every where same
