Smart move by AAPL. Potentially iPhone users will get a free iPhone when first sign up or planned product refresh and users pay monthly subscription in order to use the phone. Makes it significantly easier to reach a wider group of consumers. Please like.

    If apple does this subscription model a lot of customer willl leave to android I will be one of those.

      side note: switching between Android and iOS is really a pain, so from a convenience point of view, consumers will still remain with what they have.

      with a huge critical mass alongside their ecosystem, end of the day consumers will still likely to support their products.

      I like the idea of a subscription plan. I think it's another situation where Apple knows what we want before we know it.
