Lucid Motors, known as the Ferrari of the electric vehicle, said on Thursday that the Dream Edition Range version of its luxury
electric car Lucid Air has been recognized by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency as the longest range electric car so far. It can travel 520 miles（836 kilometers) when fully charged.

Lucid Group, Inc. is an American electric car manufacturer headquartered in Newark, California. Lucid's other divisions include energy storage and original equipment manufacturing.

Driven by this news, Lucid's stock price rose 6.33% on Thursday to close at $21.17.

As for price, Lucid Air's Dream Edition version far exceeds Tesla's best models, but the price is also much higher, reaching 169,000 USD, while the Model S is priced at 90,000 USD.

Therefore, some netizens are not optimistic about Lucid, "In the United States, what car can't be bought at $170k?", "aedc battery life is unstable" and so on. Some netizens even said, "You can buy three Teslas at $170k , and you can run 900+ miles on a single charge."

    If you follow lucid since 2016/17, you'll know lucid is over promising customers. Don't compare lucid to ferrari, they're not even close in terms of quality.
