Diluted earnings rose to $3.73 per share from $1.35 a year earlier, while adjusted EBIT increased 21.6% to $4.106 billion.

Strong demand for higher-margin pickup trucks and SUVs supported operating performance, although international and automotive financing businesses recorded weaker adjusted earnings.

GM raised its adjusted automotive free cash flow guidance to $11.5 billion–$12.5 billion and narrowed its full-year adjusted EBIT outlook to $14.5 billion–$15.5 billion.

The board authorized a new $20 billion multi-year share repurchase program following completion of the January $6 billion authorization, while declaring a December dividend.

GM's $0.18 quarterly dividend is payable December 17, 2026, as the automaker continues investing in vehicle development and manufacturing operations.
