Johnson & Johnson reported that TREMFYA achieved a 35% combined fistula remission rate at Week 48 in its Phase 3 FUZION trial, up from 28% at Week 24.

At Week 24, remission rates were 28% and 27% across the two TREMFYA maintenance doses, compared with 10% for placebo.

The findings add one-year evidence for TREMFYA in perianal fistulizing Crohn's disease, with more than 90% of randomized patients completing treatment through Week 48.
Johnson & Johnson (NYSE:JNJ) reported 35% combined fistula remission at Week 48 with TREMFYA in its Phase 3 FUZION Crohn's disease trial.
Remission increased from 28% at Week 24 for the 100 mg eight-week regimen, while the 200 mg four-week regimen maintained its earlier results.
“The latest findings from the FUZION study show that patients treated with TREMFYA maintained or improved upon the clinical benefits observed at Week 24,” said study investigator Laurent Peyrin-Biroulet.
At Week 24, remission reached 28% and 27% across TREMFYA groups versus 10% with placebo, while more than 90% completed treatment through Week 48.
Johnson & Johnson said the findings support further evidence for sustained fistula remission, while the announcement's effect on its share price remains unverified.
Combined remission required complete fistula closure without drainage, new fistulas or MRI-detected fluid collections, with Week 48 safety findings consistent with TREMFYA's established profile.
Johnson & Johnson previously reported positive FUZION results in May and additional subgroup findings in October, alongside three-year TREMFYA Crohn's disease data.
