The US are running low on missiles and the US piblic opinion is deeply against Trump's handling of this matter.

But Trump can't afford to admit this and is coming up with a new fake narative. The rhetoric has turned from ending the "Iranian civilisation" to now "low-balling Iran", which is saying we will not attack Iran anymore.
