🚨 ⚠️ SCAM ALERT: Fake Guru Ring on Tiger Brokers ⚠️ 🚨

Please watch out if you use the Tiger Brokers community feed ("Trade Feed")! There is a coordinated scammer ring operating right now trying to trap retail investors.

Here is exactly how they operate so you don't get caught:

🔹 The Bait: A fake account posts a sophisticated-looking stock analysis using heavy market jargon (e.g., tagging NVIDIA) to look legit and catch your attention.

🔹 The "Ghost" Comments: A whole string of fake accounts will immediately comment, talking to themselves and pretending to be everyday traders. They will all praise a specific "mentor" or "guru" (e.g., naming a Telegram handle like @Owenmoshey).

🔹 The Trap: They pretend to ask each other how to join, then drop a Telegram link/username to funnel you out of the broker app.

Once they get you onto Telegram, that's where the actual financial scam, fake premium signals, or pump-and-dump schemes happen.

What to do:

1️⃣ Do NOT add any financial "gurus" or join Telegram groups recommended in broker comment sections.

2️⃣ If you see posts like this on Tiger Brokers, ignore immediately.

Keep your money safe.

Oh yeah! I saw this too and wonder what’s that about? Especially when there’s some newbie-like person ask if anyone can help to navigate trading since they are new, these comments would then appear @CaptainTiger , maybe 🤔 it’s time to investigate and block some accounts? Thanks for sharing 🙏

If I were a Tiger employee, I'd likely look the other way. It's similar to being a school counselor, why make life harder for yourself by taking on issues that aren't directly your responsibility?

I am not coming from the perspective of a scam... rather is it even ethical to divert traders to another platform that provides trading advice at a cost? Something just doesn't sit right... if the service/advice is solo good, it doesn't need traffic diversion...

I doubt they can do anything much. Without concrete evidence, it may also be difficult for Tiger to determine whether a scam has actually occurred.

I doubt they can do anything much. Usually, it only becomes a criminal offense when someone actually loses money. If it happened outside the Tiger community, like on Telegram, there's probably not much they can do about it.
