I heard an interesting take on this war from my mentor today. He mentioned that if you look at it from a news perspective, it certainly seems like the U.S. has the upper hand in negotiations.

However, if you dive deeper, Iran is actually the one consistently forcing the U.S. to the bargaining table. Since they control the majority of the crude oil flow through the Strait of Hormuz, Iran appears to hold the real leverage. I would love to hear your thoughts and rationale in the comments.
