$Amazon.com(AMZN)$ AI strategy is simply amazing. It is spending USD 200 billion to build the physical, electrical and computational backbone of the global AI economy. These include AI Factories, doubling its power capacity from 4 gigawatts to 8 gigawatts by 2027.
Over 60% of the entire USD 200 billion goes directly into AWS infrastructure expansion.
Amazon is even building their own chips with Trainium3 and Trainium4 for training and Inferentia for inference.
Amazon is willing to undergo short term pain for long term gain. Investors have to be patient in the meantime.
