Meta has committed to purchasing additional available compute capacity from certain upcoming Nebius clusters, up to $15 billion over the five-year period.

This fits into the broader AI infrastructure boom, where companies like Meta are ramping up massive capex (Meta reportedly planning up to $135 billion in AI-related spending this year). Nebius has secured other big deals too, including multi-billion agreements with Microsoft.

Nebius & Rocket Lab Raises Funds at High: When to Bottom?
Nebius plans to issue $3.75 billion in convertible senior notes to fund the buildout. Following the announcement, its stock dropped over 10%, giving back part of its previous gains. Rocket Lab is raising funds to ensure the smooth first flight of its next-generation Neutron rocket in 2026. The company is conducting an ATM (at-the-market) offering to raise up to $1 billion in common stock. After the announcement, RKLB shares fell ~5% in after-hours trading.
