Some muted rejections, like Burry discussing Open AI's Frontier, do not concern me greatly. I would be more concerned if they secured a government or defence contract, or actually began to replace $Palantir Technologies Inc.(PLTR)$ deployments. Until that point, the bearish arguments may need to be louder. It reminds me of when people thought Blue Origin would topple SpaceX, or electric car companies would topple Tesla, or ERPs would topple SAP. The pattern often repeats. In business, it frequently becomes a question of ‘when’ something will happen rather than ‘if’. I do not quite understand why short sellers expect $Palantir Technologies Inc.(PLTR)$ to compress, rather than Open AI inflating to the next level.
