From an investment view, F1 as a global IP still has plenty of upside. The sportās growing in the US and Asia, with young fans coming in via streaming, social media, and now movies. For Apple, this could be the turning pointāproving it can deliver blockbuster hits while boosting Apple TV+ subs.
For Singapore race week, Iām soaking in the vibes. The night race is special, and even outside the track, free viewing spots and pop-ups make the city buzz. Between simulators, AI photo booths, and Marina Bayās energy, itās hard not to get swept up. Iād say Iām part Movie Fan, Racing Fan, and Investor Fan this weekend.

While I cannot understand the craze of watching cars racing around the track, I am sure many appreciate it and enjoy the thrill of watching the race. It is also a sport for many racers and money making tool for many of these companies. It is evident that F1 has huge economic value to the host countries as well. We cannot deny the commercial potential of F1 as a global IP.
I think I wonāt be heading to the street race or pop-up events. As someone who doesnāt enjoy crowds much, I might be avoiding those areas instead[Facepalm]. @Fenger1188 @HelenJanet @Success88 @Kaixiang @LuckyPiggie @Universeå®å® @DiAngel @Wayneqq @SPOT_ON @SR050321 come join
Formula 1 or F1 isn't just a sport anymore. It is evolving into a global entertainment and luxury brand. F1 recently signed a 10 year deal with LVMH worth USD 150 million per season.
If Apple's F1 movie is a winner, this could be the start of Apple's foray into the entertainment business. It would be a new source of revenue for Apple and at the same time promote the Apple brand and pro ducts.
I believe that the F1 presence in Singapore and the only night racing event would help promote Singapore as a worthwhile holiday destination and bring in much needed revenue for our local hotels, shops and more.
It is certainly an exciting time to be in Singapore.
