Yes, TIGR may not have the cheapest trading fees. However, if I were to describe how great TIGR is to my friends who are sceptical, I will say TIGR is akin to the Facebook of trading platform, one that appeals to all ages and experience, one that allows people to know about other users/people/opportunities/news - which the legacy trading platform Interactive Brokers don't offer.
