DBS soared to a record high on Monday after Singapore's largest bank flagged an improvement in net interest income for 2025 and a dividend capital return plan, in line with a jump in fourth-quarter profit that met expectations.     That is really great news for investors. It is like about 11%  increased in dividend from last Q. Moreover, there will be special dividend of 15c per Q onwards for 2025. the overall dividend is really high in comparison to many other counters listed in SGX.

      I see. That will increase the value of common share as well provided DBS cancelled them. I recalled they did so. Dropped back quite a lot from DAY high today. Hope it will continue to be bullish tomorrow.

      Indeed,  dont forget that they still have $3 billion share buy back schemes and so the share price will remain stable.

      The ordinary dividend was up from $0.54 to $0.60, if you hold 1,000 shares you will have $3,000 in dividends for 2025.
