An overview on some companies on my watchlist that are announcing earnings on the coming week. Most of them are speculated to be beating earnings estimates. However, as we saw in GOOGL, beating estimates doesn't necessarily equate to a bullish move in the stock.
I used to trade pre/post earnings , betting a strong upside or downside move. But I have stopped since a year ago as I felt the risk/reward ratio does not make sense anymore. I prefer selling vertical option contracts as it is more sustainable and enable me to have a healthier mental space.
But if you are an earnings trader, this will be useful information.
