抖音會否來港上市一直受到高度關注，外電昨日引述消息人士透露，字節跳動正尋求抖音赴紐約上市的商談，未有提到香港。隨後字節跳動迴應稱消息不實。抖音行政總裁張楠則透露，抖音視頻搜索月活用戶已超過5.5億。
據外電報道，抖音於美國上市不會與在港上市互相牴觸，因字節跳動或採取二次上市的方式，效仿阿里巴巴（9988） 、京東（9618） 及網易（9999） 等科技公司，在美上市後再回港進行第二上市。
字節跳動的投資者普遍也對該消息持不反對態度，消息人士指，當見證同業快手（1024）在港上市的「瘋狂」後，相信香港市場也會對抖音持相似反應，加上參考中資科技股股價表現，相信抖音在美上市後，在美國市場亦會表現熾熱。
抖音搜索月活用戶5.5億
事實上，抖音的影響力越來越大。據張楠公佈，抖音視頻搜索月活用戶已超過5.5億，未來一年將加大對搜索的投入力度，「歡迎對視頻搜索感興趣的同學加入。」
今年初，抖音發佈的年度報告顯示，抖音日均視頻搜索量已突破4億。張楠認爲，過去幾年，整個社會的表達、創作都在視頻化，作爲信息獲取最直接的途徑，搜索也在視頻化。截至去年8月，抖音日活躍用戶突破6億。
