Trump: Democrats opposed tax cuts, no tax on tips, voter ID

On October 20, President Donald Trump posted on X, alleging that “every single Dumocrat in Congress” voted against “our Record Tax Cuts,” against no tax on tips and overtime, and against no tax on Social Security for seniors; he also said they opposed voter ID, proof of citizenship, and securing the border.

Trump wrote that he achieved “more in two years than any other presidency in the History of our Country,” but that the “Radical Left Dumocrats want to burn it all down.” He further asserted that Democrats voted “IN FAVOR of the Worst Inflation and Highest Energy Costs in American History,” and “IN FAVOR of the Transgender mutilization of your Children, and IN FAVOR of Men in Women’s Sports.”

“Every single Dumocrat in Congress voted AGAINST our Record Tax Cuts, AGAINST No Tax on Tips, AGAINST No Tax on Overtime, and AGAINST No Tax on Social Security for our Great Seniors.”
