On October 19, President Donald J. Trump said on X that he is nominating Joseph Falvey to serve as a judge on the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Indiana.

In his post, Trump described Falvey as currently serving as an Assistant U.S. Attorney, praising his work “protecting Public Safety, and promoting Law and Order.” He highlighted Falvey’s academic credentials from Yale Law School and the University of Notre Dame, and noted that Falvey previously clerked for three jurists: Chief Justice of the United States Supreme Court, John Roberts; Judge Thomas Griffith of the D.C. “I am pleased to nominate Joseph Falvey to serve as Judge on the United States District Court for the Northern District of Indiana,” Trump wrote. He added that “Joe will strongly protect our cherished Constitution and Rule of Law in this important new role,” and concluded the post with, “Congratulations Joe! President DONALD J. TRUMP.”
