Trump: Interior excited about new East Potomac golf course

On October 18, President Donald J. Trump said on X that a new golf course is planned at the site of the old East Potomac Golf Links.

“Doug Burgum, and the United States Department of the Interior, is very excited about the new Development of a Great Golf Course at the site of the old East Potomac Golf Links,” he wrote.

Trump added thanks to Tom Fazio “for his initial conceptual design and ideas,” and credited “others from within the Golf World and the Department of the Interior.” He said “any variance or changes will be made, depending on site conditions, by the Experts in Parks and Recreation,” describing their experience and knowledge in “Seawalls, Landscaping, and Design” as second to none. The post was signed “President DONALD J. TRUMP.”
