Intercontinental Exchange (ICE) plans to offer futures contracts tied to cattle and hog prices, Bloomberg reported Tuesday, citing ICE executives.

The New York Stock Exchange owner is targeting Dec. 7 for the launch of its first cattle and hog futures contracts, Bloomberg said.

ICE plans to offer physically settled cattle futures and three cash-settled contracts tied to cattle and hog prices, the report said.

The products remain subject to regulatory review and are expected to trade under the symbols COW, MOO and SOW, Bloomberg reported.

ICE did not immediately respond to requests for comment from MT Newswires.
