Anthropic's planned initial public offering, which could potentially value the company at more than $2 trillion, supports the view that artificial intelligence infrastructure spending will remain robust for the foreseeable future, Wedbush said in a Tuesday note.
The Amazon-backed (AMZN) AI company plans to spend $518 billion on computing and infrastructure in the coming years, according to the note.
Under long-term infrastructure service obligations, Anthropic projects to spend $111.1 billion with Alphabet's (GOOG, GOOGL), $110 billion with Amazon, and $31.4 billion with Microsoft (MSFT), under long-term infrastructure service obligations over the next seven to 10 years, the note said.
Further, Anthropic has commitments of about $161.2 billion to Broadcom (AVGO) for equipment leases and agreements with xAI potentially resulting in up to $84.5 billion of spending for Nvidia-based (NVDA) computing capacity through 2029, Wedbush said, citing Reuters.
Anthropic's initial public offering is likely to be pushed back until after the November US midterm elections, Reuters reported.
