Amazon.com (AMZN) founder Jeff Bezos has invested $30 billion in Blue Origin since it launched in 2000, including a recent injection of $2 billion, the Wall Street Journal reported Thursday, citing documents it reviewed.
Bezos' latest $2 billion commitment comes amid an oversubscribed $10 billion round of funding for the rocket and space company that values the company at $140 billion, the Journal said.
The SpaceX (SPCX) rival employs 15,000 people and generated $800 million in 2025 revenue, the report said. Blue Origin expects revenue to reach about $1.4 billion this year and more than $30 billion by 2030, according to documents cited by the Journal.
Blue Origin did not immediately reply to MT Newswires' request for comment.
