Capricorn Metals' (ASX:CMM) Crimson Metals subsidiary received approval from the Commonwealth Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment, and Water for the expansion and operation of the Mount Gibson project in Western Australia, according to a Tuesday filing with the Australian bourse.
The clearance enables the company to finalize the primary state approvals needed for the project under the Environmental Protection Act 1986 (WA), the filing said.
The company expects development activities to start in the December quarter, per the filing.
