1—5月份，社会消费品零售总额206031亿元，同比增长1.4%。其中，除汽车以外的消费品零售额190022亿元，增长2.7%。5月份，社会消费品零售总额41090亿元，同比下降0.6%。其中，除汽车以外的消费品零售额37781亿元，增长1.1%。
按经营单位所在地分，1—5月份，城镇消费品零售额178662亿元，同比增长1.2%；乡村消费品零售额27369亿元，增长2.6%。5月份，城镇消费品零售额35741亿元，同比下降0.9%；乡村消费品零售额5349亿元，增长1.5%。
按消费类型分，1—5月份，商品零售额182543亿元，同比增长1.2%；餐饮收入23488亿元，增长3.1%。5月份，商品零售额36485亿元，同比下降0.7%；餐饮收入4605亿元，增长0.6%。
按零售业态分，1—5月份，限额以上零售业单位中便利店、超市零售额同比分别增长6.8%、3.6%；专业店、百货店、品牌专卖店零售额分别下降1.2%、1.8%、7.6%。
1—5月份，全国网上商品和服务零售额83177亿元，同比增长5.9%。其中，网上商品零售额52718亿元，增长5.0%；在网上商品零售额中，吃类、穿类、用类商品分别增长15.5%、7.2%、1.6%。网上服务零售额30459亿元，增长7.6%。
