Financial stocks were higher in late Tuesday afternoon trading, with the NYSE Financial Index rising 0.4% and the State Street Financial Select Sector SPDR ETF (XLF) adding 0.9%.
The Philadelphia Housing Index was down 1.1%, and the State Street Real Estate Select Sector SPDR ETF (XLRE) was up 0.2%.
Bitcoin (BTC-USD) was falling 1.2% to $80,732, and the yield for 10-year US Treasuries climbed 5.3 basis points to 4.46%.
In corporate news, S&P Global (SPGI) shares added 0.9% after its Energy division said Tuesday it has launched the HorizonsAgents suite of AI-backed tools to turn energy and sustainability data into insights for financial institutions and other clients.
