The Israel Defense Forces said it will investigate why attempts to intercept rocket fire in the southern Israeli city of Dimona appeared to fail.
"Prior to the impact, interception attempts were carried out, and the incident will be reviewed," the IDF said in a statement. "Since the beginning of Operation Roaring Lion, the Israeli Air Force has intercepted dozens of threats and continues to operate, even at this time, to carry out interceptions and strikes wherever necessary in order to remove threats to the civilians of the State of Israel."
