Nearly 80% of the Israeli public supports the war in Iran, but an increasing number have doubts about the length of the campaign, according to a survey by an Israeli think tank.
The population of Israelis who think the war should continue until the Iranian regime collapses has fallen to 54%, down from 63% when the campaign started, according to the survey of more than 900 Israelis last week by the Tel Aviv-based Institute for National Security Studies. Support for the war overall has remained steady, INSS said.
Additionally, 48% of those surveyed are doubtful that Israel's invasion of Lebanon will bring calm to the region, INSS polling showed.
