A man was killed by a projectile fired by Lebanese militia Hezbollah at a kibbutz in northern Israel, according to Israel's rescue service Magen David Adom and the Israeli military. Images shared by MDA showed two vehicles set ablaze by the strike. First responders said they found the man dead in the driver's seat of one of the cars. The Israeli military said it was investigating the incident and whether the projectile fired was an antitank missile.

Hezbollah joined the war in support of Iran earlier this month and has fired dozens of projectiles daily at Israeli soldiers in Lebanon and Israeli territory, according to the Israeli military. In response Israel has expanded airstrikes against Hezbollah and launched a ground invasion in southern Lebanon.
