Trump Insists the U.S. Is Meeting Its Goals in Iran -- WSJ

President Trump said the U.S. is "weeks ahead of schedule" in Iran and meeting its goals. "The United States has blown Iran off of the map," Trump said in a social-media post Saturday, while complaining about media coverage of the conflict. "Their leadership is gone, their navy and air force are dead, they have absolutely no defense, and they want to make a deal," he said, adding: "I don't!"

Days after the start of the war, now entering its fourth week, Trump said the operation could last four to five weeks or as long as necessary.
