The tool scans users' faces to estimate their age, and is required for accessing chat features on the platform. Based on its age-check data so far, Roblox saw its age distribution skew slightly younger than its previous estimates, which could give proof that it has farther to scale with higher-age cohorts than originally thought, the analysts say.
