Max Layton等分析师在报告指出，他们的研究表明，到2026年下半年，金价将回到每盎司2500至2700美元左右。此次下跌可能是由投资需求减弱、全球增长前景改善以及美联储降息等因素造成的。
随着美国总统特朗普的破坏性贸易政策以及中东危机刺激了避险需求，金价今年以来已飙升30%，上次创下纪录高点是在4月份。对美国赤字和资产的担忧，以及各国央行为实现储备多元化而持续购买黄金，也支撑了金价上涨。
他们预计，黄金的投资需求将在2025年末和2026年减弱，尤其是随着美国中期选举成为焦点之际。此外，他们认为，美联储有很大空间将政策从限制性调整至中性。
该银行的基本情景预计，下个季度金价将在每盎司3000美元上方盘整，然后走低——这一几率为60%。现货金价约为每盎司3396美元。
