Treasury Yields Rise as Markets Wait for Tariffs -- Market Talk

Dow Jones04-03

1543 ET - Treasury yields recover from early declines and rise as Wall Street braces for President Trump's tariffs announcement. Markets are likely to be driven by the trade developments tomorrow, but there are also relevant data on the menu. The Challenger job-cut report is one of them, together with weekly jobless claims and February U.S. trade deficit. Service PMIs are also likely to be scrutinized. On Friday, payrolls increases are expected to slow, according to a WSJ survey. The 10-year yield rises 0.040 percentage point to 4.196% and the two-year gain 0.042 p.p. to 3.905%.
