HK-listed CITIC rises most in 4 weeks on robust earnings outlook

** Shares of Chinese conglomerate CITIC Ltd rise 3.8% to HK$8.64, their biggest intraday percentage gain since June 3, on course to snap two consecutive sessions of declines

** Stock, which hit its highest level since June 15, is the fourth biggest percentage gainer in the Hang Seng China Enterprises index and the fifth biggest percentage gainer in the Hang Seng index

** CITIC, which involves in businesses from financial services to real estate development, expects its H1 profit to increase no less than 60% from last year

** The Hong Kong Hang Seng Commerce & Industry index slips 0.3%, while the composite Industry index tracking conglomerates gains 0.4%

** The Hang Seng China Enterprises index eases 0.4%, and the benchmark index slides 0.2%

** Stock had surged 51.6% this year, as of last close
