Salesforce's Stake in AI Firm Anthropic Valued at $5 Billion

According to individuals with knowledge of the matter, following multiple investment rounds and the completion of Anthropic's latest funding round, Salesforce.com's equity stake in the cutting-edge AI company Anthropic is now valued at approximately $5 billion.

Bloomberg first reported this valuation on Monday. The positive news drove Salesforce's stock price up nearly 10% that day, narrowing its year-to-date decline to 21%. Anthropic announced last week that it had secured $65 billion in funding, resulting in a post-money valuation of $900 billion, which is 15 times its valuation from a year ago.
