On March 23, Qianwen launched an AI-powered ride-hailing function that allows users to select vehicle types, add waypoints, and schedule trips via voice commands. The service also accommodates personalized requests such as "a well-ventilated car under 30 yuan," "smooth driving," or "friendly service." Users can access the feature by updating the Qianwen app to the latest version. Currently, with support from the Alibaba ecosystem, Qianwen offers integrated services including flight bookings, hotel reservations, and ride-hailing. The platform can also remember frequently used addresses like "home" or "office," enabling users to simply say "book a ride home" or "book a ride to the office" to complete the process. With increased usage, Qianwen learns additional travel habits such as preferred times and frequent destinations to provide more tailored services. Separately, Alipay announced that its "AI Pay" feature is now available across multiple AI scenarios including Qianwen, Luckin Coffee, and Rokid. Beyond ride-hailing, users can securely and efficiently pay for food orders, grocery purchases, movie tickets, flight and train bookings, and hotel reservations within Qianwen using Alipay AI Pay. The payment solution is designed to enable seamless transactions during conversations with AI assistants.
