On March 23, leading autonomous driving technology company WeRide Inc. (WRD.US) released its unaudited financial results for the fourth quarter and full year of 2025. The company demonstrated strong performance over the past year, with accelerated commercialization. Total revenue for 2025 reached 690 million yuan, a significant increase of 90% year-over-year, setting a new historical record. Fourth-quarter revenue was 314 million yuan, up 123% compared to the same period last year, marking the highest quarterly revenue since the company's founding.
The core Robotaxi business experienced explosive growth, with full-year revenue of 150 million yuan, surging 209.6% year-over-year. Revenue in the fourth quarter reached a new high of 50.6 million yuan, an increase of 66.4% year-over-year. Domestic registered Robotaxi users grew by over 900% in a single quarter, reflecting a massive surge in market demand for mobility services.
Benefiting from improved operational efficiency and ongoing cost management optimization, the company achieved a full-year gross margin of 30%. Gross profit amounted to 210 million yuan, an increase of 86.8% year-over-year. The net loss narrowed substantially, decreasing by 34.2% compared to the previous year. The company maintains a strong capital position with reserves of 7.1 billion yuan.
Currently, WeRide's autonomous driving products are operational in over 40 cities across 12 countries, making it the autonomous driving company with the broadest global business coverage. The Robotaxi fleet size has reached 1,125 vehicles. According to the company's plan, it aims to deploy 2,600 Robotaxis globally by the end of 2026 and tens of thousands by 2030, further solidifying its advantage in large-scale operations and maintaining its leadership in the global autonomous driving industry.
