Data released by the Qwen AI platform reveals it has provided more than 10 million complimentary university application guidance reports for students and their families.
During the period when national college entrance exam (Gaokao) scores were released, the daily consultation volume on the Qwen platform surged by over 100% for multiple consecutive days, with a single-day increase exceeding 1000% on the 25th.
This year's university admissions season has seen "AI-assisted application filling" emerge as a new option for examinee families, with over 14 million users consulting Qwen on Gaokao-related matters. The data indicates that around the Gaokao score release, Qwen's consultation volume grew by more than 100% for six straight days, culminating in a spike of over 1000% on the 25th.
The university application service launched by Qwen this year includes capabilities such as generating reports, providing calendars, and answering questions. It assists students in planning application strategies and recommending lists of potential institutions and majors. The service can also make real-time adjustments based on user feedback, such as "I don't want to attend this university" or "please recommend a few more majors." Currently, the most frequent user has had Qwen make adjustments 135 consecutive times.
