On May 9, the Tianjin Municipal Postal Administration announced that it had summoned the regional headquarters of JD.com and Cainiao for discussions. Recently, the administration met with relevant responsible persons from the regional headquarters of the two express delivery brands, JD.com and Cainiao, instructing the companies to strictly implement unified management responsibilities and strengthen the management of grassroots outlets.

The Municipal Postal Administration notified the companies of issues discovered during recent law enforcement inspections and presented work requirements: First, strictly follow the "Tianjin Municipal Guidelines for City-Level Management Agencies of Delivery Enterprises to Fulfill Primary Responsibilities," manage Tianjin regional outlets and personnel effectively, conduct solid safety education and training, and carry out thorough investigations and rectifications of safety hazards. Rigorously implement the "three systems" for mail and parcel acceptance inspection, real-name delivery, and security screening, firmly safeguarding the security of delivery channels. Second, comprehensively enhance safety risk prevention at grassroots outlets, implement hierarchical and classified management, adhere to service standard requirements, improve delivery service quality, and promptly and properly handle delivery service disputes.
