The report states that Elliott plans to collaborate with Synopsys to help the company generate increased profits from its software and services. Jesse Cohn, Managing Partner at Elliott, remarked, "Synopsys's financial performance clearly has an opportunity to more fully reflect the value it delivers." He added, "As artificial intelligence drives a step-change in chip complexity and capital investment, Synopsys is uniquely positioned to benefit from this growth."

In an email statement to the media, Synopsys said, "The company's board and management team regularly communicate with our shareholders on a range of issues and value their input."
